Echoing hatred quest bug

So this is probably not the only topic about it but i have seen no reaction for more then a week, while this is a important key event to do.

I have had the item dropped and the quest triggered. When i went to town i saw the area where i had to go. Once I walked over there it disappeared and the quest shows the green checkmark that its complete, and thats it. Its been like this for a week and i am not able to progress this quest and enter the echoing hatred.

Please fix this….

I am playing Diablo 4 on PS5. The priority quest “The Resounding Scream” (introduction to Echo of Hatred) is not triggering/starting for me.

  • Platform: PS5

  • Issue: The amethyst-colored item “Trace of Echoes” did not drop or the quest did not start after picking up. The NPC in Themis does not react.

  • Troubleshooting done: Changed Torment difficulty, reloaded the game, and checked Skovos Strongholds. Nothing fixed it. Please look into this progression blocker.
