Why did they need to have 4 different parts that don’t drop evenly to spawn a boss?
Remove the head, femur, hand and keep only the heart, make it require 4 hearts to spawn it? You wouldn’t need to have some recipe at the alchemist to try to even the materials out even though you can’t even craft the heart so it’s a bit useless.
Every other uber boss require 1 type of material.
How about keep the heart only and just require 1? I feel as if the whole farming system wasn’t run through any QA testing what so ever, other to write it off as working. It does work, so we have to give them credit somewhere it’s just extremely tedious.
Yea I hate the inconsistent drops. Right now I have 40 hearts, 25 heads, 20 femurs and only 6 hands. And yes I know I can convert them but eventually it’ll be the hearts that are missing and I can’t make those. I’d like to see it only be hearts and make it 4 or even 5 to match living steel numbers.
Just get rid of mats whatsoever. Why hide the bosses behind the wall of tedious grind for mats.
Implying that Blizzard has any QA after the layoffs they did and then the layoffs microsoft did after that. If they do have any QA left they almost certainly are still treated horribly at that company anyways.
I agree and as a Druid main is worthless for me to try and even farm these items - Id get smacked around by Duriel anyways playing ahalfass build atm at lvl 87. So I just parked my Druid and started a sorc - see how she does and hope RNG finds me someyhing I can use… MEHHH !!!
Just like everything else, it is the false sense of content through time/resource gating.
You can also play barbarian and skip the entire boss farm loop if you want. Plenty of damage and DR to go around just stacking enough aspects on your gear. 10-15mil OP crits at level 90 with only 2 glyphs at level 15 and it even playing HoTA.
Putting tibault’s and a shako on this thing are just overkill. Its like bringing a nuclear bomb to a pool noodle fight!
Again, i think they should change organs to a blue vial or green vial.

Unless youre going to add target farming for heads, i think the frustration of matching 4 sets of organs has no value in the game other then frustrating players.
Entire way bosses are done needs a complete redesign. Also have these items go to materials tab so they dont clog inventory and cant be duped.
Duriel is just a zombie rota 24 / 7 because of dupes.
The way these should work is each boss has two ways to be summoned.
A free run timer where you dont need mats to summon it one time as solo (perhaps 24h timer.) This lets players progress no matter what and would be great for casuals and solo that can only play an hour or so each day or week. They could get free runs and progress.
Then the other way to summon boss is with mats that go in materials tab and only summoner gets a chance at ubers from duriel with a boosted chance at ubers since these will no longer be run 24 / 7. This cant work in this season because of yet another dupe exploit so they have to get that fixed as well. Players in group get 925 gear so there is still a reason to do in rotas if you want but its not longer pseudo required. This puts RMT out of business, helps solo and casual, and unclogs inventory.
You’re missing out. My storm druid can kill bosses almost as fast as my barb can.
I’d agree… and add, I’d just put him on a 1hr timer… done and done… Same with the other bosses of varying times (or whatever).
Maybe have material(s) for a very special boss… which none are at the moment in the game… perhaps opening a gate to Hell.
Cant be too short of a timer or nobody would care to summon it the other way. Maybe 24h for duriel, 4 to 8h for other bosses. 1 h is too short I think.
Well I was playing a level 87 storm human/wolf druid , RNG has not dropped TR for me and I cannot get higher content as I dont have the items I need to advance to higher NMD. Im parking him for now and hoping maybe by making a Sorc Ill be able to get farther but I highly doubt Im going to find a TR this season so Im going sorc for the rest of this ladder…
That was part of the season 1 mechanic. Players want seasonal content to make it to base game.
Just on a side note, there is a YT video (made just a few days ago) where the streamer dose a t100 NMV using only vendor bought Yellows and only upgraded to legendary using affixs in the Codex.
