FYI - Your Game balancing of the Echo of Lilth has gotten worce.
Originally too easy with some builds one shotting her. To now near impossible to beat even with a S-Tier build.
I see some slight elements of forcing the player to move avoid certain bos mechs. But there isn’t any visual hints for the small red blood bolts, to avoid them. they shoot off at a non-dodgable speed. Which then she one shots you at certian point.
In short - this Boss fight is rated at 1x Broken wolf paw out of 4x Super wolf paws. For lack of creativity and fun in a final fight.
I like this fight… It’s a pretty easy benchmark, if you can clear a Pit 100, u can most likely beat Lilith. Maybe even pit 90… Idk man, I don’t find the fight very hard, and I enjoy dancing the mechanics

Fight is easier than every now, never needed a S-Tier build to beat her previously and not now either.
You need to learn the fight rather than playing a specific build.

I never even tried it. It is optional boss without any loot.
It is not too hard, you are just not good enought.
I don´t think souls bosses have place in aRPG but considering boss isn´t mandatory I see no problem if there is one for souls enjoyers, let them have fun.

I can clear Pit 100 but can’t kill Lilith this season. Just made it to stage 2 a couple of times where I quickly die due to the stacking debuffs. Taking down Pit Bosses has never been of problem for me. Fights were usually long but I always easily avoided any Shadow Boss attack. But there is only so much you can avoid fighting Lilith. If you don’t have the DPS, winning the fight is just impossible.
Fortunately, S5 Patch notes say that damage and HP of all Bosses will be heavily reduced. Taking down Lilith will be a piece of cake next season for everyone.
Try again in S5 with a huge HP reduction on all bosses. Lilith included. And with an overall increase in damage due to new items and added main stats. If you fail again, just unistall.

You can have all damage in the world but if you fail to dodge mechanics that damage wont help you, because you cant skip mechanics anymore.
Its a fight of knowledge and movement speed, not damage.

well, pre s4 it was a fight of damage.
honestly the changes to uber lilith are great.
she doesnt differ between one shot specs, or off meta specs like she used to. as you said, learn the fight. personally i also had my serious struggles. i eventually got her killed, but yea, it was rough. now shes like some raid boss. get adjusted to the mechanics and you win.

I just wanted to say that you need a bit of both. I am struggling to just destroy the blood orbs that spawn on the arena, hard to avoid at the same time the debuffs. I know the fight and I know how to dodge but that’s not enough for my Druid.

If you cant even kill her blood orbs, then you have serious problems with your build…
They have even nerfed the blood orbs recently btw…
Let me know if you want help killing her!
Only thing about d4 that is good is the Lilith fight imo, we need many more Uber bosses like her

Before the nerf, I wasn’t even able to destroy the blood orbs. I wasn’t ready for the fight. My build was improved a lot since. I can now but still need still several hits. Dodging I can do but it is just difficult when many things are going on at the same time.
The fight is a lot better now than in previous season. I could avoid the ground spikes once, sometime twice but not more. Playing HOTA Barb that was enough. Now it is a lot easier but having to deal for too long with the orbs and the enforcers at the same time, I end up stacking debuffs. Second stage fight has been pretty short each time I managed to get there.
Anyway, that’s for offering to help with the fight. I don’t really care for the achievement. I know some players do and want a carry. For me, it is a challenge that I can sometimes win, others not and I am Ok with that. Next season my Pulv Druid will get some improvements and if I can get one of those new powerful Uniques, that should do it. Will be in the Eternal Realm.
I find the fight is the easiest it’s ever been minus the builds that could just one shot her. I don’t think anyone should be able to one shot her.
I do think it feels weird to one shot her and have her fly around doing mechanics with one hp but I don’t think people should be able to one shot her at all. They should just adjust the hp live based on how much damage someone is doing to her. People should have to learn the fight and do the mechanics though.
I can assure you “There is only so much you can avoid”… I can go through this whole fight, about 2-3 minutes phase 1, and 2-3 minutes Phase 2 and finish the whole fight with 0 stacks every single time. Yes it is possible to avoid everything for however long it takes… Practice practice repetition repetition. It’s not hard man

Na they need to fix busted builds, adjusting HP based on broken builds just makes all the others suffer
It isn’t mandatory… but she does reward a Spark the first time you beat her on a character… so, not mandatory, but certainly a goal for anyone who isn’t lucky enough to get a Uber Unique (Mythic) drop.
There will likely always be busted builds but I agree they need to fix them. Adjusting her hp on the fly based on dmg done to her should make it feel roughly the same for everyone. Of course that means they have to code it properly and get their math right.
So if a busted build walks in and starts doing buku damage then she has way more hps than someone walking in doing normal damage. If a poor build walks in and does crap damage then she has way less hps than average.
It’s not the perfect answer but they obviously have problems balancing builds. The goal of this is to make the fight feel like it takes the same amount of time no matter the build. Also should eliminate the bugs that she gets when she is health chunked because there would be no health chunking.

they can keep it like it is but then Blizz got to realize only a tiny portion of the player base is going to attempt the Lillith fight let alone succeed and if this was there goal then they did a good job.
For those struggling if you have the damage it really is just learning the fight.
If you can damage her at a decent rate the only thing you need to worry about is getting stacks. Keep in mind everything that gives a stack now was a one-shot and I had to learn the fight with that being the penalty
I agree learning the fight is not fun and there is a lot not to love about it, but once you are on the other side and can do the "dance, you get to understand it. Basically an awful rite of passage.
You can still skip the blood orbs in phase 2 if you stragger her fast enough and stop attacking while her hp drops close to 0.
