Why all late game activities, e g. new bosses, world bosses, legions… are very very easy to do BUT TIME CONSUMING and very rewarding in terms of loot when the challenging and hard actovities like NM 80+, Buther in NM 80+… are not rewarding with garbage loot?
so this is the phylosophy of D4, just spend time to e.g. aquire items to summon Duriel by brainless-click on easy mobs to get high level loot? why not encourage farming hard content?
I could not agree more, I am liking the changes that I’m seeing, but none of that makes any difference if the game is incredibly easy to the point where you get bored with it
100% agree.
Risk versus reward and difficulty versus reward should be looked at.
Makes no sense that the easy stuff gets awesome rewards while the hard stuff like the butcher (not really difficult for me bur using as an ex.) has garbage to reward for the kill.
Will blizzard do anything about it? Probably not. Honestly, your post makes sense and i agree, but it isnt a big deal. I am still gonna play because i enjoy it.

u forgot to say world bosses and uber bosses drop 950 ilvl yellow loot
if not for a dolment stone amulet (wanna do boulder druid so hard but no drop yet) and maby 100% achievements i would long ways gone from this season :)))
yes, killed Butcher around NM 80, hit him for 10 minutes and dropped garbage, Duriel is 10x easier and drop lot of good loot.
I got a item power 925 with four good affix with okay rolls from blood harvest. I haven’t gotten a unique from any of the new bosses yet after fighting them 5 times each. It’s all RNG mate.
I’ve said it before. There are 2 rewarding activities in this entire game currently.
- Blood Harvest
- Whisper caches
That’s literally it. Helltides aren’t rewarding, NM dungeons aren’t rewarding, Legion Events aren’t rewarding, Uber Bosses aren’t rewarding. The entire game feels like a slog. Just mindlessly grinding XP for 0.1% upgrades.
They need to rework Paragon/Glyphs. Put skill points in the paragon boards and let us get +ranks to skill as well, then remove Glyphs. Let us scale our damage by investing into skills instead of boring x% damage glyphs.
Decouple power from skill-related Aspects and have WT4+ exclusive Aspects that allow us to alter our skills. Give us cool & interesting effects to chase rather than just mindless damage bonuses.

Vamptides, yes absolutely. Especially the loot piñata boss, but whisper? I have never gotten one usable item from doing those things.
Whisper caches give the most gold of any activity in the game.
Yes. NOW they do after season 2 started.
Still zero usable items though. The gold is a nice perc for certain, but the items are sub-par

forgot tosay, I play Ethernal so 1 is gone, and 2 besides gold is also.not rewarding.
anyway, my point is: why doing hard stuff, e g. NM 80+ is 0 usable loot and they force us to do brainless-click activities like farming bosses and get the keys for Duriel which is also very easy but drop good loot? if this is the new road of D4, brainless easy stuff FTW, then this is concerning for the future of the game.
