Okay so, I’m not colorblind at all. But I haven’t noticed a single blue OR orange number, aka Overpower hit with any of my skills including all the earthquakes on the ground with my barb.
Am I going crazy or did they change the indicator number for overpowers? Haven’t seen a blue or orange number with earthquakes or whirlwinds.
Thanks in advance for the answers.
Overpower + crit = orange.
Yeah I know, I’ve played every season. I haven’t seen any orange OR blue numbers.

I don’t think I have ever seen blue numbers.
They are white for normal damage, yellow for critical hits and orange for crit+overpower. Am I missing something?

I think so - just Overpowers alone are indeed blue. Maybe it’s in the options somewhere? Or you have a display setting different?
I’m playing Quake but I don’t have numbers on at all, I don’t see the point there’s enough going on without them. So can’t confirm or deny the OP.
Non Crit overpowers are blue

Yes, you are correct. I just mainly play Rogue and Sorc and when I play barb, which is rarely it’s almost never overpower build.
Yeah checked all my settings. Thanks for replying though
I’ve noticed in people’s videos only seeing crits. Overpower being 3% chance means it should still happen sometimes.
Yeah exactly especially with all the earthquakes you put down as a Barb and especially while whirlwinding. All those number ticks on screen and not a single time have I seen orange OR blue numbers.
Isn’t Earthquake a DoT??? DoTs don’t crit or overpower.
It’s not classed as a DoT since an effect isn’t applied on targets. Same goes for Dust Devils.
Earthquake is able to crit. It might look like damage over time but it deals individual damage repeatedly over 4 seconds.

Whirlwind, and earthquakes can’t overpower
Thats why people use Whirlwind when switching weapons with HoTA for the 30× damage after a HoTA overpower
