So I checked my bags & discovered several dungeon keys – 4 Nightmare Dungeons, & 2 Root Holds. Can any dungeon be turned into a Nightmare? Do you need to be 60 to use it? The two Root Hold keys say something about dungeons in Fractured Peaks – can they be used in any FP dungeon, or am I looking for specific ones?
Also, I figure the Root Hold keys won’t transfer to Eternal when the season is over, but will the NM keys?

Yeah NMD just activate the key. And it will make the dungeon a NMD and highlight it on your map, if you hit the map right away it will be on it. If you wait a bit you will need to look for the red door.
Root Holds are different you need to pick options (inside) before entering, just read them they make sense. It is a benefit and a penalty. Root holds also have roots in them that you want to open for loot. And the boss is relatively tankier than the NMD bosses. IMO rootholds have some of the best loot.
You can use the Draught of Whispers in either for a chance to get an altar.
they should back to key levels. NMD are too garbage, too easy and pointless right now.
The amount of obiducite that drops there are far inferior than in Horde.
Knowing Blizzard, they may nerf Horde instead of fix NMD and give it a real purpose in the game.
