Dualsense Edge Controller support for PC?

I just want to know is this $200 controller gonna get supported for D4? We just bought 2 of them for the Server Slam and couldn’t get them to work. That said my old DualShocks worked just fine. Would love to get some Blue text up in here so I don’t have to create a Twitter account.
I will add this, we did see that D4 recognized the controller for the mic setting calling it the Dualsense Edge but nothing else was recognized.

I would also like to know if the Dualsense Edge will work without requiring 3rd party software, even without the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Does it work as a regular/generic controller?

So now that it’s released, I tried it out… seems that the DualSense Edge, connected via USB cable and everything, doesn’t work. I tried using a regular DualSense controller via USB connection and that worked… seems it’s we cannot use the DualSense Edge for the time being or at all if they don’t plan on doing anything about it…

Had to use DS4 windows which I do not like doing but it works for the time being. @blizzard come on and get this working natively please!

That seems like a Sony CE issue. They never seem to make up their mind about whether they want DualShock on Windows.
Everything is there to make it function as a general-purpose gamepad, they have Windows drivers, but it’s like one hardware generation of gamepad works, then two others don’t, then they don’t update the driver for two years, then the next driver revision gets all but the newest DualShock working.

I don’t have a console, I have more movies and TV on XBOX than I do games by a wide margin, but if I got a PlayStation, it would be nice to have one set of gamepads for the hermit chicken nuggie PC Gamer den and the living room console setup.

Get DSX on steam, solveds everything and supports VR coontroller

Either plugged in or wireless connection my edge controller has the same issue if i press X at a stand still it opens my chat box so i have to be pressing the movement joystick whilst pressing X to attack so i don’t open chat every time. I have also paid for DSX on steam too yet and resolve this issue yet nothing has rectified said issue. Would really appreciate some support from blizzard on this issue soon!
