Dual Monitor / Boderless Windowed issue with game cursor

Hey.

So I’m using 2 monitors, and there’s no ‘exclusive’ / “full” Fullscreen mode in Diablo 4. I read it’s because DX12 does not actually support real Fullscreen mode (I.E. not Borderless). But because I have a second monitor the in-game Cursor sometimes ends up on the other monitor screen, and if it happens to be in the heat of action and I left or right-click, then I momentarily ‘quit’ the game into Desktop mode (since I clicked the mouse while the Cursor was on the other monitor screen).

Is there any workaround for this? I.E. to make sure that the Cursor in the game will not get into the 2nd monitor screen even in Borderless Windowed mode?

Thanks.

There’s 2 ways to do this.

  • Options > Graphics > Screen > Lock Cursor

  • 3rd party program that I use called Dual Monitor Tools which allows you to set a hotkey to lock and unlock the cursor to the selected screen.
