Summoner Necromancer is the only class I want to try. No not bone spear… that build is so boring…

Mobalytics is listing summoner as S tier interestingly enough. The build listed looks very promising. Apparently, the malignant hearts make it so promising.
Don’t get attached to them. They’ll be gone when the season ends then we’ll be back to pre-S1, post patch minions.
If you’re wise, you’ll avoid these hearts to avoid the attachment and eventual loss. More importantly, if you refuse to use the hearts, you could force ActiBlizz to make minions actually good enough to stand on their own rather than be dependent on temporary, seasonal buffs.
That is the whole point of seasonal play. You get to use builds that wouldn’t really work otherwise. Same with D3. You have fun while it lasts and move to something new next season.

Its definitely not witch doctor level minions from D3. Those were crazy fun. And fast.
They do alright untik about level 98. After 98 they do fine. Survival is good. Dmg output goes way down. I linger in low 50 to mid 50 NMD. Im level 100, and always been a summoner.
I invested deep and hard in paragon stuff for their dmg as well. Level 21 glyphs. The works. Golem hits like a semi most kf the time. Warriors and mages do ok… mages as frost supportis keen- always freezing mobs that get near me and refocusing on them.
Yeah, no. I’m a summoner main. I don’t play these games to be anything else that isn’t a summoner.
Summoners shouldn’t have to rely on temporary and/or seasonal buffs in order to be good, but garbage any other time.

I’m still gonna be summoner during leveling so at least 1-65 like i was on the first launch.
Sorry to the party pooper. As its current state I would say it’s still rubbish. The only thing work with minions is minions support (meat tanks for shadowblight) or Ring of Mendeln. RoM is a lot closer to what minions like but to the core it’s not. and it’s still a very slow build for everything anything.

If nothing changes in the very near future “full summoner” builds will work almost the same as in eternal realm… You’ll be able to play but it will be slower and have high gear requirement compared to bone or even blood.
It would be replaced with better stuffs on Season2. Do i have to worry when Season 2 ends? No, becoz it would be replaced by better stuffs on Season3. And so forth.
