You can’t be a real summoner with these skills & if you wanted to go all summons & nothing else you will be really lacking in DPS. Wolves lunge is a hit or miss half the time or one hits the other misses. Ravens is the only good one but every 8 seconds fly by with low damage the raven needs a passive boost. Creeper is low dps & only good for crowd control.
Can we change the summons to have more dps, more wolves like cmon wheres the Dire wolves leading the wolf pack in D2. I want my spirit for attack rating & damage. I guess I should play D2 for that shouldn’t I sigh.

Agreed, these are way worse than d2 summons.
D4’s Druid is like have a taste of all the trees where in D2 you had to choose one type to pump out dps to go all into. I’m not a fan of a diverse skill types that seem to be lacking all around except for the earth basic & earth core skill. I’m not a fan of transformations losing their passive perks they had in D2 especially since the Druid has no fast movement or teleport skill they should give the passives back to transformations.
I don’t like how transformations are just animations to an attack transforming into a werewolf or werebear had benefits. Werewolf attack rating, attack speed, damage. Werebear defense, attack rating, damage. You were either a burst dps as werewolf or a hard hitting tank with werebear. These transform attacks are gimmicks & this druid feels like a padawan because you cannot fully spec into one type & be powerful with it.

The wolves turned werewolves were one shotting elites and three shotting bosses. It appears the Druid is highly dependent on legendary affixes.
I had all of these legendaries and laughed at the thought of the werewolf companion build… Wish I hadn’t now.
Yeah with affixs werewolves where crazy.
Wrong… it took alot trials but you have play around with the affixs and skills and eventually you will get that damage or skill to smash though your target. Once I got tuned
with my werewolve. I was smoking thru dungeons, elites, and bosses.
How much grinding to get those drops? My legendary drops were absolute rubbish.
Actually i did the dungeon aspects, then just imprinted the skills I wanted on the best gear I could get. Blood howl, Shred, and a companion buff where extremely easy to get.
but Dodge, barrier, and a element dps buff round out the class very well. Overall a few hours set to build out the class and I was soloing multipule elites at once.
I had a dodge and a barrier as well plus one to replenish HP when close to enemies. I kept getting legendary drops like boost basic attacks and become unstoppable when injured or chance to take no damage when barrier is active. Could not buy a Druid class specific legendary if my life depended on it. That forced me to build around what I had, stand there holding the A button occasionally pressing X for a spender and refreshing buffs as they fell off. Not the most riveting playstyle.
Does iit matter how long it takes… point is they dont suck. Just like anything else you need the right skills and gear to get something to work.
