[Druid] Trample QoL

Trample is sometimes inconsistent with the distance it covers, or at least that’s what it appears to be, unless all mobility skills were designed to take terrain height into account.

Sometimes Trample travels a shorter distance when moving upwards or downwards a hill and, while I am not entirely 100% certain, it appears to cover the same distance on flat ground, or at least the shortened distance coverage occurs way less often on flat ground.

The above is invalid. I just now realized that Trample goes as far as your mouse can possibly point to. I was aware of the Sorceress’ Teleport “exploit” with widescreens but honestly didn’t think that abilities which are tracked via the ground and include no body displacement or otherwise teleportation, would also work this way.

TLDR: there is no distance bug and am an idiot.

It would also be a very welcome addition if we could control the direction it heads into, perhaps for all mobility skills as well.

Currently all of them travel in a straight line but perhaps it would be awesome if we could make them turn while in motion to better cover corners and not lose the distance. You know the example, you’re nearing a corner and your mobility skill is off cooldown; you can either use it now or walk slowly until you turn the corner and then use it for full distance coverage. It’d be cool if you didn’t have to worry about that and instead be able to utilize its distance fully while turning the corner.

Actually, just now I’ve noticed that Trample even GAINS distance when going downhill at times, lol.

Perhaps a single press would result in a straight line while holding the button could make it focus on wherever the mouse cursor is.

It would be nice if it just went in the direction of your mouse like dash
