Druid Survival Instincts legendary node explained.
if my life percentage is almost always 100%, does that node work for me? I have the tank bear build.
Did you ever get an answer to this question?
Isn’t this pretty self explanatory? If you’re at 100% and the enemy is at 90%, you’ll deal 10% more damage, up to a max of 50% more damage when the enemy is at half health or less. If you and the enemy are both at full health, it will have no effect until someone takes damage.
Which part is confusing?
Well i thought it could mean if I’m at 10 percent health and a enemy is at 100 then I get a 90 percent bonus- and it only helps the more injured I am because it is called survival… obviously I would prefer it the way you’re explaining
The skill node gives you a max 50% damage bonus based on the Difference between you and what you are engaged with, based on your health % versus their health %.
So usually at fight start you are both 100% and it’s doing nothing, as your target loses health you gain damage (so long as your health is full, IE you are fortified) once your target hits 50% health the bonus damage is capped BUT as it gets lower, you can lose health and still retain your 50% damage buff.
It also works out if the situation is reversed, fighting a boss, boss is full health and you drop to 50% or below, until you get back to 100% health you have the damage buff.
So its going to yo yo around, your health and the npcs health directly affect the damage buff % value.
