Is there somewhere information how the druids SB technique works, like livestream or something.
Overall it looks like the necro book of the dead, but getting 5 passives and not sacraficing the minions for it.

This gives some info on the spirit boon mechanic.

Druid Class Mechanic Revealed at Diablo IV Developer Q&A - Wowhead News

At first, Druids will only be able to bond with one Spirit Animal at a time and only receive that animal’s buffs – though they will be able to swap these out at will. However, once Druids have unlocked all four Spirit Animals in Scosglen, Druids will be able to receive one boon from three of the Spirit Animals, and specialize in the fourth to receive two boons from that Spirit Animal, for a total of five boons all at the same time.

Most druids will be going 2 spirit boons in Eagle for crit and crit damage. The rest will be to suit your playstyle.

Actually … I was considering specializing in Wolf for Energize + Calamity … but that whole “Lucky Hit” chance-stuff is deceiving …

Energize
Lucky Hit: Dealing Damage has up to a 15% chance to restore 10 Spirit.

I would LOVE this … if 15% chance ACTUALLY MEANT 15% … but it doesn’t … it just means it adds 15% to the chance for a Lucky Hit … which is really a remote chance … of a remote chance … so … I may just specialize in Eagle anyway … sigh :unamused:

But I am DEFINITELY getting Calamity from Wolf:

Calamity
Extend the duration of Ultimate Skills by 25%.

nah i dont think so, as i love theory crafting i believe its going to be upon your build
for example one of my builds use wolf (fortify + lower ultimate)

one other build uses crit dmg + crit chance
one other uses attack speed + crit chance

The restoring spirit is okay but I think depending on your build not really necessary.

The only boon I want from wolf is ult skill duration since the dire wolf aspect gives you a huge steroid to crit.

Just so you know druid abilities have quite high lucky hit so it might proc more than you think.

50% lucky into 15% is still a 7.5% chance overall.

Energize is going to need balancing lol. 15% lucky hit on ALL damage to proc 10 spirit. That’s crazy. Even if it ends up being 3-5% proc chance per instance of damage, think about how many ticks of damage your average Druid build has with the lightning procs, multi hit core abilities, hurricane, etc.

10% reduction from elites is pretty huge. stack that with stormstrike and ironfur and you have one tanky druid

Looks like the damage-buffing options are more situational, the defensive ones are kinda more reliable IMO, like the 10% less damage from elites and 15% CC reduction

Except if the Eagle 5% Crit means baseline % increase (for all procs/skills), that one would be somewhat significant buff to those low-proc % builds…

I could be wrong about this, but I believe that 10% reduction also applies to bosses and bloodmarker players in PvP

I can see most builds grabbing the Eagle 5% Crit.

But … I can also see some specializing in Deer for those two particular Boons:

Wariness: Take 10% reduced damage from Elites (Please Note: Elites have already been defined in-game as Champions, Elites, and Bosses)

Advantageous Beast: Reduce the duration of Control Impairing Effects by 15%

Remember, the Spirit Boons were locked for the Betas. So, we can expect some changes. Still, that just means the Druid will really shine - especially given this - Blizzard Developer Reveals Why Diablo 4 Druid Is One of the Strongest Classes from a Game Rant article.
