So we know that there’s aspects that change pulverize and trample to earth and nature magic skills and Vasily’s/Tempest Roar effects change Earth/Storm Skills to shapeshifting skills.
What I’m unsure about is if we’re rolling a physical damage affix on our gear will that still increase the damage of the affected skills or only certain skills?
If you’re referring to ‘+physical damage’, it increases your +damage when you use a physical skill. Vasily’s/TR don’t affect this because attacks that are close/distant/physical/etc are what they are - whether it’s a storm skill or WW skill that shouldn’t matter (might be a weird exception I’m not considering).
Your question is a bit confusing - hope that answered it.
Outside of companions, ‘+physical’ damage should be accurately reflecting on the skill tree; so it’s an easy one to test.
hmm. I guess I beat around the bush a bit. My point is will an Ursine Horror affected Pulverize benefit from physical damage since it’s now an earth nature-magic skill?
And also will a Tempest Roar converted storm strike also benefit from physical damage?
These factors have no bearing on whether an attack is physical. (Aside from the plates created by ursine horror - they shouldn’t benefit from physical but i haven’t tested them myself)
If i attack an enemy with shred, it benefits from +physical damage. Whether it’s a WW skill, storm skill, earth skill or WB skill - it doesn’t matter.
That said, there are many bugs and i haven’t tested every combination myself. But better to assume something isn’t bugged until you have reason to believe otherwise.

I see so even if they have additional effects on them or are converted they are still physical skills first and foremost. I think to be more safe I should just spec into damage with earth/storm skills.
Hover over your skills and info appears. At the bottom of the info is the damage type.
If the skill says physical damage, then its affected by bonusses from physical damage.
As far as I know there are no aspects that change damage type.
