Druid PTR Notes

I just got finished looking at the PTR notes and have a question for the Devs. Wtf are you thinking? I mean, seriously. You gutted the only S tier build Druids had in s13(which I disliked, but it’s at least something) and didn’t really compensate in any other direction.

We are going to be back to Bear Boulder or Pulverize class meta. Yet again… Even with the Resolve nerf, Might of the Ursine ring will still be meta. Human and Wolf builds are laughably weak in comparison. No buffs to either is absolutely absurd.

The only way any of this makes sense is if you’re actually balancing the entire game/every class to a t135 maximum. We all know that isn’t true, so again. Wtf were you thinking?

It’s so stupid.

Did you know that a level 15 tornado does less damage than a level 9 lightning bolt? Tornado has to actually travel. SLOWLY. to hit the mob. They’re not even really multi hitting like they’re supposed to.

And they nerf the utter HELL out of the only S tier build we had this season.

God I HATE This team so much.

And thanks for milquetoast buffing all those garbage uniques for our class that NOBODY uses for any build, ever.

The same can be said of Rabies. The only real endgame option is Superinfection, but it’s spread limitation basically neuter’s the ability in t12+ play. Then you got SB out here, poisoning the entire screen with a stronger poison passively. Or Rogues poisoning the entire screen and then some with bouncing Penshot and 3 clones that all also fire poison.

I could understand a spread limitation if the multiplier were like x3500%, but as is, it makes no sense. Then you take an ability like Lacerate. It basically functions the same as Rogue Death Trap. Except 1 is an S tier build that can farm t150. The other can only complete a t120 with God tier gear.

It just seems like everything aside from Bear builds is always half-baked. Even then, Bear builds are held together with a bandaid. Pre-LoH it was Rotting Lightbringer doing the heavy lifting. Now, it is and will continue to be the MotU ring that does the heavy lifting. It’s lazy, and ridiculous.

I think they are saying nobody is supposed to play the Druid class anymore. And… yeah, that about sums it up. Don’t play Druid. :slight_smile:

Well pit 120 is fine for me and i like all the storm builds. Claw, stormstrike bear, shred , tornado are all getting buffed so i dont complain.

i don’t understand what they are doing, i was so happy with the new expansion, the game looked like it was going to only improve and now they do a complete 180 degree change yet again, this is like the fifth time they completly change itemization.

This is just overkill.

No reason to nerf it THIS much, along with all the other nerfs.

They didnt need to completely gut companion builds, just tone them down a tad, which most of the other nerfs were handling fine.

That is kind of what I was getting at. Well, I was primarily joking but… yeah.

It’s as if someone blindly pulled usage stats, saw something over-represented and was like, “Nerf it into the ground so they use something else!.” With little consideration for the impact, whether it’d work or any context whatsoever.

At this point I think it’s plain to see that this team really has no idea what they’re doing.

I can’t figure out if it’s intentional sabotage or incompetence.

If they see us having fun they kill it.
