I’ve encountered a few issues with the Lightning Storm skill (some already mentioned). The biggest is being stuck after evading right after pressing lightning storm. The next is when you get pushed back during lightning storm cast, lightning storm gets locked out (other spells can be cast).
A positive bug is that Lightning Storm can be quickly cast in succession instead of holding it down to make the cast go much much faster. This deletes bosses/elites (though at the expense of spirit).
I have encountered the exact same issues in nightmare dungeon and it’s extremely frustrating, at first it seems to be latency but i quickly found out that all other spell can be cast except lightning storm, Blizzard fixes this, please !!!
After evading there is a good 2-3 seconds that this spell is locked out and there is no way you can cast it again ! also knocked back effact or stun effect from enemy while channeling this also lock this spell out ! (while all othere spells and basic skill can be used)
Im experiencing the same issue! Getting rooted after evading led to so many deaths by now…
Same thing for me, sometimes, out of the blue, I can’t cast lightning storms even if I got spirit and can cast other spells. It just says not ready I think. Sometimes I can’t move with left click as well when it happen.
Yup I also encounter this bug multiple times in a single run, it’s super frustrating. Hopefully they fix this fast.
I found the same bug, when you are spam clicking your lightning storm and you dash you’ll be rooted in place and unable to cast your lightning storm for a couple of seconds, so in nightmare dungeons it is game over…
But the quick cast is not a bug, that’s how the skill works.
New patch and this bug is not fixed…it’s super frustrating to die because of a bug that stuck after evading right after pressing lightning storm.
Blizzard, how is this bug still not fixed with the new patch? Can you at least acknowledge the bug?
Getting stuck with lightning storm is a huge problem and i would like to see blizzard address this. Its honestly the reason for most of might deaths in nightmare dungeons.
has there been any acknowledgement of this bug by a blue? It’s really messing with lightning storm.
Another patch and this bug is not fixed , BLIZZARD DON’T WANT TO FIX THIS BECAUSE NOBODY PLAY LIGHTNING STORM… SAD .
they can’t fix it because they’re too busy not doing anything about any of the other game parts. I seriously doubt they got more than a dozen developers working on this game right now, because the rate of fixes and actual meaningful changes that aren’t just tinkering with game stats is abysmally low. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still playing, so I’m upping their player count, however, it has to be said that it does feel like they don’t really care about their own game that much.

Here 4 months late and this bug is still in the game. Sometimes you become frozen after evading right after using lightning storm (or maybe its the other way around?). In any case, why is this still in the game???
