So, I started a druid for this season, something I noticed is the lack os cosmetics, my character is looking absolutely awful, and I can’t believe the cost of the cosmetics in the shop for the druid especially.
I bought 2 skins for my Rogue as they were really cool, the only skin/cosmetic I’ll prolly use for my druid is some wolf-skin then the seasonal pass glowing items.
And the mothers embrace skin? Is that a joke? Every other class looks cool, or aleast decent, and then there comes the druid one with idk what the heck that is, meat slimes everywhere and a ugly af skin overall. Looking like some kind of monster from a bad sci-fi movie.
I know this is not a fashin game, and I dont need to buy anything, but if theres options to buy cool looking skins for all other classes, there should at least be some decent druid ones. They are basically the same or just straight up ugly…
Just why? At least we could have one cosmetic that looks great.

Pay attention as well, to the in-game shop…sooo much of it is just reskinned/recycled content. That they are asking $10, 13, 20+ for…

Yup, I’ve been taking a look every day at the refresh and not a single Druid skin has been cool yet, they all look like the free cosmetics with a a small change or added some feather or some s*** here and there.
For 15-25 dollars??? Is that a joke?
Druid must be the only class with no skins in shop that are even worth looking at.

IMO there shouldn’t even be an in-game cash shop. This is probably now, w/ the Microsoft transaction, the largest game company on the planet. They sold how many copies of this game?!? Then they turn around and charge these insane, ridiculous prices, because they did zero research, and just cut & copied the prices from Path of Exile. A tiny, tiny studio, that put out a 100% free game…not one w/ a $70 - 100+ price tag!

Well said. Blizzard stopped being a reputable company ages ago. Their sole purpose is now to rake in as much cash as they can with their games. What a joke that they said that the free skins would be of comparable quality to the paid stuff. You can already see that’s a bald faced lie.
I’ll never spend a dime on their games past the purchase price and won’t even bother playing at all if it’s just out there to fuel micro transactions. Until people stop falling for this garbage these companies will never stop.
Don’t use the shop….ever.

No, I refuse to spend a cent on it.
speak for yourself, i personally find that skin mash extremely awesome comparing to other mommy armor.
i mean look at barb, what the actual f is that leggings? it was clearly designed for female barbs in mind only, not the dudes…
also they all look really similar to each other, you can call it a theme, i just think its lazy designing. Druid was the only one with a more unique look to it, and i think its amazing
One issue with Druid is that by late game most players will spend 90%+ of their time in a wolf or bear suit with the unique tunics.
That said, I dressed my druid to look like Santa Claus, and I’m very happy with that choice. You can get creative with it.

IMO, the Oak and Mother’s aren’t too bad. They’re definitely much creative than any other in the shop. If they had contributors, I’m sure a lot of cool things can pop up.
I find two core problems with the Druid:
Human form is hardly encouraged as a build:
While there is a glyph and attributes that affect Human form, there are no non-shapeshift builds whatsoever, which means you’re running around as a bear or werewolf most of the time anyway.
So why spend 10, 20, or 30 dollars on cosmetics you won’t see anyway? Commercially, they shoot themselves in the foot with it. Not even bear or werewolf skins are available.
The skins are just not worth the money:
As others have said, the bulk of the skins are simply variations of the free skins. I honestly think I would spend a maximum of 10 dollars for skins and not the price of an expansion.
I Like Oaken Protector, but found to my dismay I cannot die the wood piece, just the metal sections of the armor. Really bad. I made it work with a green palette, but it’s such a scumbag move for a 2500 price platinum armor.
Problems is druids are obese and haggard with 50 year old hobo faces. People say they look like strongmen, but strongman champions are all in their 20s/early 30s, and they don’t look like a 50 year old truck driver with a hook nose and double chin. Many strongmen have strong jawlines, an obvious effect of the increased testosterone.
They just made druids ugly when they could have used the barbarian bodies and faces to much better effect.
Most druids hairstyles for the men are balding or look like homeless rastafarian.
I pieced together some bone motif for free. Got a cattle skull shoulder thingee, holding some skull as a totem, a skull helm, boney skirt and gloves and shoes.
I hope they make form cosmetics, including not just fur/color/looks but also different animal forms. Like a Werepanther version of Wolf, or an Owlbear verison of Bear, let’s say. I would pay for those, but it’s hard to even care about cosmetics when you don’t stay in caster form during fights.
Totally agreed. We need something more for druid.
Oak skin is decent, but we will still be in bear/wolf form most of the time anyway. Wish there was skins for that, would be awesome
My main issue is that they make you purchase a “premium” currency to buy skins, is this 2002?
I’d be much more inclined to buy a skin if it had a straight cost in USD assigned to it instead of this platinum nonsense. Till that happens I won’t be buying anything extra.
