It seems that Blizzard absolutely refuses to give druids cool looking gear. All we get is dead animal skins, hobo trash bags and hippy feathers.

Zero armor (asides the seasonal award blanket set designed for ALL classes). And the special season premium SHOP set… Jesus. So now I’m wearing dead demon flesh with freakin sandals… sandals??.

I can’t tell if it’s from a demon of some kind or the left over meat from Subway just “slapped” on top of my fat a$$.

Don’t give me that “lore” crap either. Since when and what lore specifically states that Necromancers (for the most part) run around decked out in kick-a$$ looking FULL PLATE MAIL (that puts D2 Paladins to shame) and carry swords and shields. (Damn I wish I could carry a cool sword or even a shield… at least a shield, but nope, just walking around carrying my own tombstone incase I die “sarcasm”).

You got stick-thin GOTH girls running around in SHINY (*SHINY) plated armor that weights more than them. Yea, sure…lore… whatever.

I mean, I get the whole animal theme and tree branch BS, but this is our fantasy, let us build our fantasy character. Just give us OPTIONS!

Yes, we do get ONE bada$$ demonic looking armored set for completing the season. I bet the only reason they even allowed that was because they were being cheap and made the sets almost identical for each class.

Sadly, it looks off because of the druid’s body frame. Only sets that look somewhat decent are the several with big shoulder pads that somewhat off-set our fat a$$ appearance. They would have to give us oversized shoulder pads with that awarded seasonal armor set to make it look cool. Or God forbid slim down the gut a little.

It’s probably because they forced this body type (INCLUSION YAY), that they have a hard time making cool looking DIVERSE armor sets. Should just let me pick my body type. “Fantasy game”… sure. -_-

And I’m not picky, give everyone a “default” sensible/average body type and (according to what class) allow that SPECIFIC class to either get fat, get sterioded, or become a twig. Only barbarians get a body slider to become jacked, only necros and sorcerers get a slider for anorexia, and only druid gets a slider for morbidly obese. So that way, I can at least look avaerage and wear cool outfits. Options… Jesus…

Also, just because I am a druid, doesn’t mean I will not change or upgrade my gear as I see fit (something other than roadkill or bark, or sandals).

“Oh no, the zombie apocalypse is happening and I am a baseball player… better not pick up that riot gear and combat shotgun from the dead cop over there. Gotta stick to my trusty baseball bat and white socks… you know, cause I’M A BASEBALL PLAYER AND NOT A COP!!..” -_-

The lore states that baseball players are incapable of using common sense and will only resort to their bats as weapons. Perhaps an old beat-up leather glove for protection.(sarcasim)

Sure, animal themes, got it, but don’t shove it down our throats. Options man, options. Have you seen the latest shop set… dead rats with dead rat tails dangling in your face… really taking that hobo trash to the next level. Feel like the hobo rat king of the NYC sewers…

The Druid is not fat. Watch a strong man competition. That’s how most of them look. Abs do not equal strength. Cut ornamental muscles are not the epitome of strength.

Okay, fantasy game? Sure. You want a cut Druid. That’s fine. But it doesn’t make the current Druid objectively fat.

I read tons of posts complaining about the Druid body before I saw it. Was expecting obesity. Boy was I surprised.

I think the druid you’re looking for is in PoE2. Quite a long wait you have ahead of you though.

Yeah, Druid is quite grotesque. If they want a shop idea, give us new character models for each class. I’m still salty about the manbearpig amalgamation that is the D4 druid after years of wishing the D2 druid would make a return to D3 and never did.

Also, 100% agree on the rat-themed set. :rofl: A rat tail veil and vest, shut up and take my money. /s

Yup, people just want to see low body-fat percent bodies running around in their APRGs.

As you’ve said, some of the actual strongest men in the world actually run a higher body fat percentage because it lets them output more power. Take a look at the mountain from game of thrones for example, he won strongest man in the world several times, and depending on where he is in his training he could very well look like this druid character or like a super lean body builder.

The Tusk set and primordial mount looks great imo. It makes the druid look like a juggernaut so at least that’s 1 point for good skins. Still not buying it tho. :stuck_out_tongue:

Druid has quite a few nice looking Transmogs but the Druid’s wide body doesn’t work with 90% of the gear.

The issue isn’t the shape, it’s the width. Druids are too wide.

If the Druid had the same type of body but as wide as the Barb they’d look 10 times better in their gear.
