I have been trying out different druid builds and have done the grind to level 75. So far none of the builds I have done seem good but I see druids of my same level destroying mobs.
I’m mainly interested in what build would be considered the strongest currently and if anyone has a link to the build, I can’t seem to get an idea of passives and paragon from inspecting other players.
I’m going to put forth the disclaimer that not everything on Maxroll is perfect but I’ll link there as it is the best source, overall, I know of.
Top Druid build is Tornado Werewolf:
Now, welcome to the Druid annoyance. All of the top builds are stuck behind Tempest Roar. Prior to Tempest Roar I’d look at doing Stormclaw Druid: Stormclaw Druid Endgame Guide - Diablo 4 maxroll.gg and replace Tempest Roar with a basic attack speed buff helm.
If you can get the tempest roar to drop, and mad wolfs glee I would go with wolf tornado. Horrible for pvp, completely shreds anything pve related.
Storm shred is stupid fun, actually my favorite build but you as melee are going to be super squishy and hirrible for NMD pushing…it is a speed farming star though…
Thank you for the replies. I’m going to look at a few of these. I saw a Druid absolutely destroying everything on a carry and he said he was using Bulwark, but I cannot find the build anywhere.
One note on Bulwark - there was a ton of concern in Season 0 that the build is living off a messed up calculation happening that might eventually get fixed.
Maybe that concern has declined as I’ve been much more focused on Necro for season 1
I’ve played trampleslide, pulverize, werenado and bulwark. I’ve killed Uber Lilith and cleared nmd 100 on all the specs of Druid I have played. Bulwark is the best to play out of all of them imo. You simply can’t die and can play like a complete ape and it don’t matter.
We’ll see about patch 1.1.4, but after the backlash over the S1 nerfs, I highly doubt they are going to kill any builds 2/3 of the way through a season. But you are right, they could always patch bulwark and kill the build. It’s certainly an odd interaction and somewhat perplexing that it’s still in the game.
Exactly! Some would say it’s boring but I find it fun. You actually feel powerful. Plus you can play it without uniques if you get unlucky and don’t get crone staff.
