Druid balancing request

Hello,

I’ve been playing Druid and leaning towards the shapeshifting fantasy. I’ve been having lots of fun and it’s pretty strong. However, there’s a few things I like to request be buffed to improve the fantasy gameplay.

Please increase the duration of these buffs:

Wildheart Hunger 5 → 15

Heightened Senses 6 → 15

Quickshift 8 → 15

*Supreme Lacerate 10 → 15

Increasing their duration would help alleviate the stress that it is keeping track of multiples buffs and their duration. Allowing for more focus on the fun combat instead of having to worry about losing your stacks. Here are few examples of situations that make this worse:

-You cleared one end of the dungeon, so you are backtracking with nothing to target.
-Walking towards the boss room in dungeons.
-Empty areas.

ADDITIONAL CHANGES

Wildheart Hunger:

-Gain a stack every time you shapeshift.
-Add the buff duration timer. Currently it doesn’t have it.

This unique is a great piece of gear. But the 2 second requirement puts a dent on the flow of certain builds. It would be nice if this was alleviated by improving the proc method or how many stacks you get.

My typical rotation is Maul > Sherd for building stacks/activating buffs. Then I would use shred as my main clearing skill - which is super fun. Then I have Pulverize as my “nuke” skill. I’ve found it to be really fun but is certainly hard to master as things stand. Certain situation can ruin the rotation to upkeep all buffs and it’s frustrating having to rebuild them.

*The supreme lacerate effect is powerful but certain situation can make it hard to make the most of it. So, it would be nice if it lasted longer.

OTHER THINGS:

The UI has a limit of 9? Buff icons and hides anything else active. Can we please have the option to have all buffs show up.

ASPECT OF FEVERED MAULING: This is an effect that I really like but, I find myself preferring to use Aspect of Might, since it’s just as good and far easier to maintain. I think this effect could be more appealing if:
-The defensive effect can be PROC by just using Maul.
-The attack speed is only gain by hitting enemies.

I like to end on this final note. My build is doing well so far in most content, except bosses. Not the nightmare dungeon bosses, but the Helltide and Uber bosses. It’s certainly not as good as other stuff in the game for those.

I completely agree with the buff durations. Or if any of those buffs refresh, they refresh them all.

The buff locations are difficult, we have so many of them. Hard to manage. They need to have specific buffs in certain locations.

Tracking overpower timers in bear form is difficult.

They definitely need to stream line all the shape shifting bonuses along with Wildheart. To me worrying about Wildheart every 5 seconds takes way too much away from my clears and find I do better with a Legendary + Tempers. If that timer were much longer (12-15 sec) then taking the time to apply maintain the buff becomes much more worth it.

they need to change the boot type to Maximum Evade Charges as well. It’s awesome being melee without any way out. That’s my biggest killer on those boots.

sir, wildhunger has duration timer, in the buff bar, you just might not see it because there is limit to displayed buffs xD. I struggle with buff rotation on my druid and barb because I can;t see half of my buffs on the bar while its full.

It really is. Hopefully they will adjust them.

@Samael Well, it does have an icon. But it doesn’t have the timer effect like others, that have the graying effect as the timer runs down it’s duration. That’s what I meant. :sweat_smile:

If they ever change the duration of buffs they need to remove the 2 seconds required for Bestial Rampage too as that’s a key passive
