So I have been playing very casually am lvl 79.
The amount of loot that I’m getting is absolutely ridiculous.
I do know why you overwhelm us with this amount of loot but please lets find a better way to itemize/customize skills.
-
You can drop us upgrades for the codex without dropping us items.
-
I dont know how to solve item customization since more items → More versatile customization especially now that we can brick items with tempers and semi brick with masterworking.
-
I do feel that the amount of loot compared to how easy the leveling content is doesnt add up for a great game experience.
I’d rather be loot starved for some time til I get my build up and running for real even if it takes a long time instead of just being showered in a million items every elite pack.
The goblins in the event just added gasoline to the fire with spamming entire screen with loot.
Even my consumables tab is full just from picking up everything.
At the same time my quest tab is empty 98% of the time.
Auto salvage/sell function radius for rares & non GA legendaries could help… Gives us some options.

YOu are not drowning in loot though. If you doing anything but greed shrine camping or helltide event loot is pretty sparce.
But yeah they fixed nothing just pigeonholed you into doing 1 event for loot. But you would not need to vendor in helltides or the pit for like 5-10 runs so they fixed it right?
Pit seems fine from my PTR experience. Helltide is still a chaotic loot hell.
As I said I dont have all the solutions - But I also dont get paid to come up with them either
Pit fine in not getting any items for sure. But they have no better quality either. That is the real problem here. They took out loot from the entire game except helltide. But still the same bs loot quality. Does not matter if you do a 35 nm or a 140 pit. Every single lego has the same chance to be good.
The need for a loot filter is unavoidable. I know they’ve been trying to avoid having to make one but I don’t think that’s possible. There’s too much time that it takes to get to where you only care about greater affixes. That’s when a loot filter isn’t as necessary. But getting people through to that point is too tedious.

Loot volume is reduced, but you still need to drop a decent amount to fulfill player expectations (especially after level 100, if you put effort into killing something and get literally nothing - no XP or loot at all - it’s always going to feel bad).
The difference now is that you reach a point very quickly where you no longer need to even look at most of it. Whereas before, you had to exhaustively check every item. The items still have value (gold, mats, aspects, etc) but it saves you time and brain cycles.
You’ve already identified it yourself, but:
- Rares are strictly inferior, so one you’re fully kitted out in Legendaries, rares replace blues as the new ‘trash tier’ and you don’t even need to bother picking them up, unless you really need gold or basic mats.
- Anything under ilvl 925 can be ignored once you have a decent set of 925 gear. You can collect it to salvage or sell, but there is usually no need to even look at the stats, unless your current gear is lacking.
- When you have all 925s with more or less ideal stats, the only real upgrades will be GA items, so you can start ignoring even 925s unless they have the lovely little *
- Then when you’re running around with masterworked 1GA 925’s, the only possible upgrades are 2GA or 3GA items with the same or preferable stats.
So once you reach those points, you can essentially “move up” a tier and ignore everything below that. You can become very selective with what you even look at. Regardless of what you may think of that design, that seems to be the intention at the moment.
Your feedback is still valid of course, and I’m feeling it to some extent too, but try re-evaluating after you hit 100, since you will be further progressed in the process outlined above, and can more easily ignore more items.
Dump all of the summoning items in the bank, you only need them occasionally.
You already have auto salvage, you can salvage everything in your inventory (if you want to save anything, just favorite it). I would definitely appreciate a ‘sell all’ button though, that seems to be lacking right now.
The LOOT is for realz … I simply pick up and salvage everything… Unless it has + skills to a skill Im using most of it is worthless and takes too long to look at all the stuff. Im not complaining though - I’ll take this season over any of the others we’ve had so far …
Loot is fine you need to pick everything for gold anyway. We need more ways how to farm gold.
If you are lazy to sell it, then let it on ground.
