Most of the mechanics are fine…I’m even fine with the pool one-shotting me…I’m not fine with:

Cast/spawn time on the pools is way too short…if you aren’t already moving when it goes off, you are dead. So much for casting anything.

Half the time you can’t even see the pools. They are almost the same color as the rest of the room, and if you happen to have any ground effects in that spot you can’t see them at all.
Been farming 30’s for hours just to hit 100 and get some baseline masterworking for the first level of currency before I start pushing. This is the only boss I’ve encountered so far that has this issue.

agree. this boss needs some work. the pools having no visuals makes the fight completely random
Sharpshooter, and Sharpshooter + Lilith Shadows (or whatever) have some ‘zero reaction’ time one-shots as well.
Both of these bosses need some tweaking.

She’s horrible if your melee too because all the pools stack up around her feet. I’ve found if you run away the pools spread out more but that also slows the fight down. She’s not so bad if it’s in a room with pillars. You just kite her around them and avoid half the mechanics that way.
There definitely is a heavy RNG component to the pit bosses. A tough boss can become practically impossible if you get a bad combo of shadow bosses.
That being said we’re only a week into the season so I’m not sure I’m ready to call for any changes yet. As I’ve masterworked more of my gear the things that were destroying I’m not surviving. Like the blood maidens fire ring barely scratches me now. I’m fine to muscle through the tough fights for a little longer.

There is no support for those who are colourblind, either.
8/26/24 and it’s still not fixed. Playing as Andariel’s Build Rogue is impossible. You have to stand in your poison puddles to reactivate poison imbue. Guess where the sea hag puddles form? UNDER my poison puddles so you can’t even see it.
