Drop Rates on Ultra Rares

Well you’re all about not making assumptions, right? So I guess we have no choice but to go with the 2 confirmed drops :man_shrugging:

Again, I thought you were totally against just making things up based on opinions. Or is it only okay when you do it?

Good call Sir i was assuming OP made up numbers because he felt entitled. Maybe there is another reason. Perhaps OP will enlighten us.

A few ideas:

  • Once you have your build-defining uniques there’s nothing new to get, and these are not actual chase items
  • Salty that the devs wasted time putting them in the game instead of other uniques
  • Bad game design, in general

Tbh, I wouldn’t be surprised if that selling was true. People have paid crazy amounts for pixel items in the past. And a lot of the super grindy games have merit for rmt people precisely because of rarity. Baffling decision for a company that supposedly want to stamp out rmt. As it stands… as Lorath said, botters are coming, brother.

Yes i agree, just like the grind to 100. It was better pre nm xp buff. More monsters killed the higher the chance to get your items to build that nm pushing character. Individuals have been complaining in the forms they feel there nothing to do after they hit 100.

They are already here I would post the link to show ya but I’m not into promoting them. I can tell you there are 2 currently “big” ones going and only getting programmed better by the day.

Edit: Also why do you think the ones found have been from Korea? Just food for thought =P

RNG can be unkind to mankind

Na bro keep your eyes on the OP don’t bring your insane logic this way.

Right here you were shown to be trolling because people have constantly shown proof of the known drops of these ultra rares and there is nobody holding onto them in their stash like they dont care that they won the lottery.

They would be blasting social media everywhere on twitter, reddit, twitch, these forums etc. The fact that there are over 2 million people playing daily 24 hours a day since release and there have only been 6 confirmed drops in 1 month is sickening. This isn’t RNG this is bot farmed items as me and RavenCoyote were joking about.

Yeah but at least its not easily monitized. Now if they only limit the rest of trading people wont continue to get fake friend requests by gold sites.

While i agree the drop rate should be increased, but they should remain ultra rare.

I dont know why people are so fixated on these though? To be honest the Visage wouldnt even work with my build as i need my unique helm to make it work.

So if Andarials Visage dropped, id probably scrap it

Isnt easily monitized what? You cant be serious right now. I can literally run 100 bots on my 1 PC for this game find 1 of these items sell the account for well say 50,000$ and even if every single account got banned after I sold this 1 account with the 1 item I made a killing. Let me break numbers below down for ya:

1 account 70$ multiply this by 100 accounts thats 7000$ in accounts (i wont get into the sales they have also which they just did a july sale of like 60% off but anyways back to the math for ya). Lets say in 1 month I found 1 of these chase items and I sell the account for 20, 30, 40, 50 THOUSAND dollars. I still made money and tons of it.

This is all bot makers see and because these items are lottery winners like this plan on seeing accounts for sell everywhere. Even if you banned all 100 accounts I was using I could just buy 100 more and do it again with plenty of money left over. I then sell another account or maybe I get lucky and find 3 of them on this month stretch or at the start of Season1 Season2 etc. Now I am even richer and can now up my bot farm to 200 bots running for items increasing chances for me to have this lottery.

It goes on and on man whole point is they should make them obtainable idc how they do it but they need to fix it before it gets as bad as Diablo 3 botting currently is.

Edit: Just to be clear I wouldnt do this because I live in America and they can prosecute here for doing such things. They however cant touch that Korean player, just saying.

The only difference is D3 botting isnt intrusive, nor is there ever a reason to pay for an account when you can be bis in 2-3 days. There are no spam bots like the D2 channels, your not piggy backing off bot baal runs.

D4 already has fake gold sites trying to add ppl as friends.

WHAT!?!?! There is a damn leaderboard yet its littered with people that bot 24/7 and blizzard bans once every 6 months.

There are already Diablo 4 sites selling all types of services and in game chat bots directing people to their site like they do in Diablo 2 resurrected. They offer stuff like:

  1. Boosting services - This one is due to the stand at door BS they allow in this game
  2. Gold services - large sums of gold like 100 million for like 5$ or something its crazy.
  3. Gear services - selling specific gear with specific rolls at 800+ item power
  4. Account services - selling accounts with fully geared characters.

The games been out a month and they are already here. I seen a post on google for it 2 days after early release took a screenshot with my phone sent to a buddy I was playing with and said “Bro WTF already?”

There is a fix to these problems but blizzard wont implement them because if they ban to soon or too often then the makers of the bots figure out how they are getting caught and change how they do things to not get caught again and then Blizzard is back to square one. They would rather ban every 6 months a few thousand bot accounts and get the money from them buying new accounts every 6 months.

TBH I feel like 1 in 100,000 is the highest rate that would feel acceptable. I’ve gotten maybe 100 unique items in my entire d4 career across all characters. So a literal 1 in 8,000 chance. If I were to extrapolate over my potential 10 years of playing I’d have a ~1 out of 666 chance of getting an ultra rare. WTF are they thinking lol. If I play any game for 20 hours a week for 10 years then I should have a ridiculously high chance of getting every rare unique, not just a fraction of a single percent chance at getting one. Dumb idea Blizz.

If i got one there is no way i would feel the need to advertise it on social media. There have to be many more people like me that just wont act that way.

Hahahahaha good one bud, I needed that laugh.

Yep, lots of people dont act like idiots and blast their lives on social media.

It’s monster level. We know this because they reference monster level whenever talking about getting things to drop that are in a specific item power range. To quote from Twitter, “monsters above level 95 will not have any better loot for you.”

Since we know these uniques only drop in WT4, it is therefore easy to extrapolate that they have a chance of dropping from any level 95+ monster. We could even deduce that you have an even smaller chance at getting these items from any level 85+ monster, as we have been told that is what level monsters begin dropping the final tier of 805+ gear, and they have stated that level 85+ monsters is when these items begin to drop. (But at 95 you are in the final tier as far as monster loot tables go, therefore the chance may be higher then.)

This is also deduced from the fact that it does not matter what level you are, you can get 800+ gear to drop for you if someone runs you through high level NM dungeons. You just might not be able to wear them yet, but they will drop.

no one with a healthy brain would do that

Please comment on the brain state of the person who decided that the drop rate on Shako should be 1:800,000
