I have no idea who developed the drifting shade but when there is a whole dungeon full of everything trying to kill you and this just spawns beside you and explodes is complete bs

Thats why those sigils are insta savage.
Shade i dont find nearly as infuriating as Stormbane,
Bubble was bad too.

As others have said, the “chaser” affix sigils are usually insta-salvage. The problem with drifting shade is its incredibly short downtime in between spawns. This massively interferes with event shrines (the ones where you click the shrine, get the buff, and can do a timed event for an obol cache at the end).
The problem with stormbane is that you can be moving and it will teleport in front of you while it’s already in the middle of a cast, making it impossible to avoid it. That should have been fixed a long time ago, but really, both of these affixes just need to go. They aren’t enjoyable in the least.
