This is getting ridiculous. The Spiritborn is exceptionally broken in terms of damage output, both due to bugs but also simple overtuning of multipliers (Kepeleke for example is ridiculous compared to ANY other unique in the entire game).
Why in the world won’t anyone from Blizzard comment on this? While it is normal to have some complaints each season about class imbalance, this season takes the cake by a factor of 1,000x it seems.
They already said the SB would be OP. Next.

They don’t care and/or don’t want to take accountability for their screw up. This game will be a ghost town way before the season is coming to an end. If the game goes on like this for 3 months prepare for a mass exodus.
The problem they’ve created is now that all these players have experienced Spiritborn in it’s current state when it gets brought down to the other classes level the game will not feel the same to them so they will say this sucks and stop playing. Meanwhile if they just leave them as is those same players will get bored and stop logging on.
All the while the players of the normal classes are getting fed up with the nonsense and plenty of them are going to quit too. Blizzard really screwed over their players and themselves to make some sales. Or, if this all really was an accident, it was the worst screw up in the history of gaming. That sounds funny but really when has their ever been a worse screw up?
The best option is buffs but at the same time adding more difficulty levels. This all almost seems like a conspiracy to do so.
class imbalance is something D4 has since launch. by example, it’s a total shame that even a rogue can do more elemental damage than a sorcerer, but nobody wants to stop playing the game. they only way devs listen is seeing empty servers.
Oh plenty of players are going to quit. Participation by the end of this season will be the worst of all 6 seasons. And it will happen soon.

They probably claimed it violated terms of service, which it probably didn’t.
I reinstalled BG3 today lol.
I have probably put at least a 150 hours into each season so far. This one, for various reasons, has had the lowest amount of staying power.
I don’t know if it’s the SB having trivialized T4, the item economy being completely broken way faster than normal, or the glacial progress on gear rolling due to mat shortages, but it just lost its lustre far faster than previous ones.
Hopefully they can fix some stuff and make it more interesting. Otherwise I agree it’s probably going to fizzle out.

They released a $40 product that introduced one single class. That single class that was a paid addition to the game, is literally is so bugged and broken that it does not work within the confines of the game. They couldn’t even make their singular paid content class function, knew this, and still released it as is. They have no integrity or care.

They’re doing something… if by “something” you mean posting videos on YouTube about “SlayPals” and how to get yours today by ordering Vessel of Hatred. The marketing team seems to be in the driver’s seat and only cares about luring new players to buy VoH and the biggest shiny trinket is “Play quintillion damage Spiritporn builds like you see on Twitch!”. They WANT the imbalance because it’ll lure new players.
I haven’t played Barb since season 4. Hope they’re omega next season.

Nothing will change if they nerf it, seasons is dead. Such imbalanace things should be nerfed day 1 or there is no point to nerf em at all.
This is worst expansion and season in the last decade for any arpg besides torchlight 3. Literally 95% server are unkillable infinity dmg spiritborn. Bliz needs to hire 500 bug crushing devs.

Because they have already said they will not nerf a class/build during the season unless it is causing stability issues with the servers.
