I wish I could post a screenshot, but if your stash isn’t packed with gems, it’s not Diablo. Period. They didn’t even stack in Diablo 2, so the complaints of the new players need to be ignored. We gladly welcome them, but some traditions need to be honored.

They have confirmed they’re adding those later. And yes, I agree 100% on set items. I guess they just couldn’t figure them out in time?

As of right now, we’re getting more gems than what we can actually use them for, and overcluttering a very limited amount of storage that was provided to the players is not a good inventory design (not to mention, the resale value is 1 gold per piece, like what?)
So, if they decide to turn them into storing them as if they were currency or materials instead of an individual spot of item in the already limited inventory would be a welcomed change, at least for me.

It doesn’t feel like Diablo to me without sets…
I’m not sure what the issue was. Considering how few uniques and stuff we have currently, I feel like they just didn’t have time to design them lol. I just hope when they do release them they’re more interesting than the legendaries are.
But back on the Gem topic, I kinda agree. Part of me wants things to stay the way they’ve always been ime. But if I’m being honest with myself, making them into pseudo crafting mats is probably the smarter solution vs adding a gem bag or more stash space, etc.
So I’m kinda torn on it…
So would you like it to be mandatory that your inventory is 100% full of charms and potions so that you can’t pick any loot up? You like having to farm for Full Rejuv / Greater Mana potions because you’re going to be spamming them nonstop?
Ironic people say this when their target audience are clearly new players who dont know better and will spend more $$$ than someone who played a ton and is calling out all the BS in the game currently.

When I’m CEO of Blizzard games people who post things like this will have their accounts banned for eternity. This is as bad as the guy who was angry that the game doesn’t have portal or ID scrolls. Sad relics clinging to bad game mechanics of the past.
I kind of agree. I like the interaction of grabbing a gem and slotting it in gear. I probably cant do that if its just a currency. Why is it so hard to make a gem tab?
