Dolmen Stone Druid useless

So i rolled a Dolmen Stone druid. Its kinda useless, i dont see alot of players using this build at all, in fact, i have NOT seen a single build on this in playing the game, i only see this in youtube. NOBODY is playing Dolmen stone build, that is, using 3 of its campanion skils + hurrican + boulder as core skill. These are 2 major problems with this build as i see it.

First, when dolmen stone is used ( hurrican + boulder), sometimes, just randomly out of no where, the stone stop rotating, sometimes i see just the hurrican, sometimes, both the hurrican and stone is just gone. Is this a bug or some kind of mob mechanic that disabled my skill? Hurrican is suppose to last at least around 8 seconds or so, but many times, out of no where, it just randomly dissapears in 2 second or 1 second after casting it, along with the stone that rotates around it. I have to recast in order for it to be active again. Is this a bug?

2nd major problem. I have a glove and totem that gives +15xx health on lucky hit, each have 5% chance to proc. I have glyph Tectonic to level 15, which should boost each of the lucky hit to +20 each, and yet, when i use dolmen stone again, almost exclusively, i NEVER seen it proc, with a 20% chance to proc, i should be constantly healing as there are a bunch of trash mobs all over the place, say in the vampiric zones, where mob density is high, but i have NEVER seen it proc and i always have to pop potions to heal, the only time it seem to proc is when i use another skill , and NOT the dolmen stone rotating around me,. whats the point if it never procs with Dolmen even with a 20% chance. (40% if glove + totem since each should give +20% each) This class and build is quite useless, hence probably thats why i dont see anyone using it.

Please fix the 2 above issues Blizz.

Sounds like a bug to me, may want to make a post in the appropriate bug forums. Doubtful you’ll see any changes until Season 3 though.

That’s just now how + lucky hit effect works. You’re getting an additional 15% on that base 5.

Its just annoying to play.

Imagine ball lightning but much more hard to keep it running right.

I built out a dolmen stone and hated it because it was just glitchy and not smooth.

Yeah, the stone is hard to keep running as it has a rather large cooldown. Even with my totem and some extra cooldown, i still have to wait sometimes to cast another hurrican, whcih is very annoying. Why would anyone want to play this build if its so inferior to ball lightning sorc, and all these bugs around dolmen stone. No wonder everyone is running Sorc and NO ONE i have seen in game using Dolmen stone build. NO ONE. I just copied off a build in youtube thinking it should be a powerful build, but it isnt.

I tried a few variations and some were okay but if the density was bad, it was just bad to play.

I played a dolmen boulder build early on and it did tons of damage as long as you didn’t encounter waller or suppressor mobs that made all your boulders go away. If they fix that boulder Druid would be super fun to play

there is your problem

you havent figured out how lh works.
Its always 2 layers not 1

so if u have 5% base from an effect then that gets multiplied with ur characters lh stat. The result is usually less % then the base.

It’s a good build and I enjoyed it paired with Stormclaw and Nature’s Fury constantly allowing me to cast Boulders. But the knockback and having to chase enemies around made me go just straight Stormclaw instead.
