Has anybody been using DOK endgame in T4? I’ve been using the Varshan bug, and it works great for normal content, but pushing single dmg is quite hard. I think once I get an Umbercrux, it should increase dmg as it will ping off it also. I’ve gone full elemental and am currently wondering what the normal DOK is like. Was anybody able to push high pits? I currently speed farm 60, and I’ll try to push later.
Well on PTR i made a Dok build with better gear that I will ever have. Perfect master work and lvl 100 Gylphs. My cooldown was so low I could spam Shadow Clone over and over and It farms T3 very good. T4 was a drag and bosses took way to long. for my taste but doable. However, its no long the same DOk I used to play as you max spin for 10 secs and the have to repeat the buff. So the Dok i loved with snapshotting is kinda dead but yeah if you like having the clone do all the damage then surely its possible if you play long enough to get good gear.
Dance of Knives needs some love. Apparently there is an additional recipe in season 9.
Agreed that as a Boss killer it needs something. This season I tried a DoK and DT combo. Unfortunately, it ended up being focused more on DT because simply, DoK just does NOT do enough damage or kill quickly enough.
It’s fun to play at low levels, but if it is not capable of doing higher levels and a struggle in the pit, it ceases being fun. Playing against bosses with it is like doing a world boss solo for any that have. You can do it, but it is not quick and not something you’d want to do often.
Its basically a very good leveling build now. I didnt see anything for DOK in S9 , what was the name of the aspect ?
Agree but DoK has been the best levelling till you can Death Trap for 2 seasons now.
I remember a developer stating that they wanted every build to be able to do T4. I could be wrong. With the changes to concealment, it lowered the dps as even fully geared will probably end up at around pit 80s. I was thinking, they should add the mobility tag to Dok. This will enable Assassin’s Stride to be a highly effective item. As it stands, I don’t think anybody uses the boots. It will also open up different builds as shadow imbuement is automatic, we can take on frost or poison for extra dps. Inner sight should also start giving stacks. I remember the developer didn’t want us just hold down the button, and I think that’s why they took it away. Ideally, that should have been the choice of the player, but it interfered with combo points. Combo points should have been each point will add an extra knife and inner sight will just add stacks. Overall, they are going to have to relook at combo points and inner sight, as nobody uses them anymore due to how we get back resources and spamming ultimates. I heard they will overhaul the skill tree so we can just spec into things at the start and not wait for an aspect i.e shards.
