Does this story get any better?

I’ve only done the first 3 acts so far. Its nothing, but following Lilith. Its so boring, and not interesting at all. Does this get any more exciting besides follow Lilith wherever she may go?

I felt like it actually did get better. It feels kind of weird in the beginning when you have the acts you can do in any order, there really isn’t a strong narrative?

Later on it becomes a linear path with stronger cohesion. I don’t think it’s a masterpiece, but I do think it became a lot better and I kind of enjoyed the second half of the story.

I’m just having a hard time getting into this diablo title. Like in the other games there was always a act boss I got to look forward to fighting along with a brand new map with different scenery. In this game there like hardly any act bosses so far,and its the same looking map

No, Act 4 is absolute nonsense dogsht.

The sidequests in Sandistan and Swampistan are overall much, much better than the entire main story quest.

The main story will leave you pissed off, the ending cinematic makes no sense in hell, literally and figuratively.

It tries really hard to replicate what Diablo 2 did but fails miserably, You don’t even have cinematics in between acts ffs.

You’ve been playing and posting since June 3rd and still haven’t completed the campaign at least once? Color me skeptical.

Nayrelle ruined the game for me

I’ve only completed it about 2 weeks ago, because believe it or not, some of us have other things to do in life than play video games all day, and when we do play, we took our times and did all the side quests and content first.

I know, shocking, some people only play video games 1-2h a week.
Imagine not being a total parasite of society.

because the game is so freakin boring, and the characters feel like crap i keep stopping. The most interesting story so far was a side quest where a werewolf plague swept the land turning everyone into werewolves, that was more interesting then follow lilith.

No. The game feels like it was written by chatgpt and is predictable from start to finish.

you have some interesting side quests like that in the last 2 zones especially, most of them in the last zone

Lyndon makes an appearance in the last zone too if you were a fan of him from D3.

There’s also an excellent voice acted quest in the last zone involving a paladin cleansing a fortress.

main story quests is boring as hell

omg this freakin girl. I can’t describe how annoying this character is. Going on,and on,and on about her mom. She like get the blessing even if you have to beg for it do it for my mom. Like I don’t care about your mom. The whole time I was hoping she die. You have to put up with her every time you remake a character, and go through act 1.

dude wait until you see what she does in the last act…

And I thought leah from diablo 3 was annoying. I take her over neyrelle anyday. I can’t believe there more of her in later acts -.-

I loved the story / campaign from start to finish, so I can’t relate to what you’re saying, but I did think the later acts were better than the start.

Sure, in A4 instead of following Lilith you get to follow a camel across the desert for 8 minutes. That might be the end of act 3, but we’ll count it as part of A4 since A4 is literally just kill Andariel and A3 is longer than Pi.

Yeah it’s a wonder why player count is dropping fast after only a few months after release.

No, it does not. It really doesn’t, and it is ridiculous…

That is why I can’t complete the compaign. I get bored, and then go play something else. I’m sorry, but diablo 3 is a better game in my opinion.

D3 was a solid 7.5/10 --D4 as it stands is a 5.5/10; I can’t stand the class design tbh. The pacing of combat, the writing, so much is terrible. I do like the open world–it’s got potential. I just feel Blizzard fumbled it HARD.
