IF LOOKS like arpg, why blz still not show all of items (include 6 top unique) to more and more players,especially all of players paid it. IF looks like mmo，it is tooo bad from just like WOW，whatever play modes 、stuff，boss fighting、team work，we only need “single player mode” could do 99.99% things in this game，why blz hold their 6 top unique just like a hen protects eggs！
Its a bit of both, it took features of both genres but without the positives. Like making a hamburger but without the patty. Its an MMO with shared open world and other players in same world, but no social aspects. Its an ARPG with dungeons and items but both are mediocre. The fact that you made this post in confusion shows you know exactly what i mean.

It takes the mediocre aspects of ARPGs and MMOs and mashes them into something…mediocre.
Somehow DIV despite being an “MMO - lyte” is the least social experience the franchise has seen since D1.

I understand now. Since they added some social aspects and world bosses, the MMO guys are confused about what this game is.
It is ARPG first and foremost.
It is gearing for short seasonal content to grind which defines ARPGs.
It is missing the years of content to grind that really defines MMOs.

Its more ARPG. If youre into the social aspect, youll have to go looking for people to talk with, rather than mingle with a general chat like in typical mmo style. Clans might be a good start…
Dont let the malcontents around here fool you, theres a good game here…it just wasn’t what they wanted.
There are also tons of improvements coming, QoL, balance, etc…
It doesn’t look like either it just looks like absolute trash. This game is terrible.
I mean to be fair the gameplay is fun, the content is kinda non existent. its just bland and boring and entirely unrewarding. Thats why people are complaining. went from about 20-30 friends on my list to no one playing the game, that says a lot lol.
Its an okay game. Its certainly not a 4 / 10 game like a lot of the hate mob says.
However, I cannot imagine how anybody who’s spent even a little bit of time within this genre could consider DIV anything more than “okay”.
It looks nice, animations are nice. Story was inconsistent but still relatively engaging. That’s it. I can’t think of anything it excels that are staples of this genre.
I take anything outside of a 5 , 6 or 7 / 10 with a huge pinch of salt.
they made a Theme Park ARPG.
