seasons not only will require the renown grind but also NEW character for season battle pass rewards:
only can only assume this is because
A: they dont want to support the game long term since immortal is a cash cow for them.
B: they hope you dont make a new character so they load the shop with all the better items that should be in the season pass rewards and you just buy them instead.
when is the gaming community going to stop putting up with BS like this.
Um, can I borrow your hat? I need something to put onto my cookie sheet so I can cook my pizza since I ran out of foil and you look like a perfectly good source.
Unless you’re the speak for the entirety of the gaming community, I assume everyone has their own reasons for “putting up with BS like this.”
More importantly, the absolute BEST thing you can do as an individual gamer, is not support the companies that do things you personally disagree with… to that end, log out of the forums, and stop playing blizzard games. That will show them!
and your saying that people will want to redo that grind every season for battle pass rewards?
take the blinders off fellas
Since Diablo 4’s launch, many fans have been asking Blizzard whether Diablo 4’s seasons would require the creation of a new character or not.
Diablo General Manager Rod Fergusson has confirmed on Twitter that players will need to make a new seasonal character if they want to access and progress through seasonal Battle Passes, content drops, and more.
This is how seasons worked in previous Diablo games, with the idea being that players can replay the game with each season’s new gameplay offerings instead of jumping in with a character that’s already maxed out.
Characters from the “preseason” or past seasons will be moved to the Eternal Realm, an instance of the game that doesn’t have content from the latest season in it.
Since Diablo 4’s launch and ahead of the start of the game’s first season that’s scheduled to start mid-to-late July, many players have been asking whether or not each of Diablo 4’s seasons will require the creation of a new seasonal character to access them. The answer has been unclear for a while now, but thanks to a statement from Blizzard on Twitter, fans finally have an answer.
I mean with point B peoples playing the season would feel utterly smashed at blizzard doing this and they can probably expect people to stop spending.
For A i still don’t believe we will see much more than your typical Diablo 3 seasonal stuff. They haven’t shown anything yet that would make me think otherwise and the battle pass don’t inspire me much confidence if that’s the content.
Still debating if it’s really a live service game or just a pseudo mmo/single or multiplayers game stuck in a forever online mode.
Eh, sorry im kind of pessimist about all of this. Don’t know where this is going.
its just funny you make the post same post on reasonable sites, where they are not such fan boys they can be critical of the game an its flaws, with in reason.
yet you come to a blizzard forum its always the same thing people dying on a hill for there beloved blizzard that does not wrong.
you think im a blizzard fanboy? thats hilarious. considering how much ive been screaming on these forums over stuff they messed up in this game. you should check my post history.
