Does POE have itemization like D4?

D4 Itemization, I am losing my patience getting the right stats on a specific item. sigh*

I almost always had to trade for the beat in slot items for my builds. 99%of items that drop are trash esp uniqs. Farming the highest tier maps and getting uniqs that shud drop at level 1 feels bad.

They could have made the rolls per tier, like when you reach higher tier it will reward you items with either good rolls if not closer to the stats you are looking for.

PoE has better itemization and loot filters

They probably have a much more interesting system. The one in D4 is a total dud.
You have to mill everything like a garbage truck.
Rather it is impossible to make a worse system.

Absolutely. Item drops. Has stats.

Never thought i would , but i am giving POE another try.

So sad is the state of D4. and a disappointing patch. incoming.

3rd times a charm.

If not maybe last epoch or chaos bane.

Haha. You have to at least get to the mapping system to give it a real shake. It honestly took me a few attempts to really get into PoE.

Last Epoch is another great ARPG that should be officially launching at the end of the year as well. Chaosbane was very disappointing.

 give it one more shot i will atleast try to level a character.

So far has been hard, mainly picking a class that felt good, nothing was hitting the spot in early game.

POE’s itemization is in a completely different league than D4.
First, the crafting is deep, a mix of RNG and deterministic crafting. White items are valuable at any stage of the game since you can craft and turn them into potential beasts.
Also, there are not 8 different conditional damage modifiers (wtf is wrong with you D4 ?!?). Therefore, a smaller pool of good affixes to draw from.
Some actually buid defining uniques, lots of them.
Loot filters so you can perfectly tailor what you see on the ground.
Putting all this together and it’s difficult to even compare POE’s vastly superior systems to the sad, confused joke that is D4.

PoE is Pay to Win game. TO see it go to PoE shop. Also if the game is for free it means 100% Pay to Win.

Can you tell me what’s p2w there in their shop? I want to buy it!

It’s better in every way, and infinitly more tedious and annoying in every way as well.

If D4 gets an arbitrary rating of 10 when it comes to itemization, combinations of stats, interactions with abilities…

PoE would probably get a 10,000. There’s a modifier you can get on your chestpiece that causes mobs to explode on death dealing a % of their health, think of an autocasted corpse explosion. The best part is it procs off itself. This can turn single target melee skills into screen clearing abominations.

That’s just a fraction of the level of itemization PoE has,

D4 formula for items makes the player here Waste more time. probably they put that to make us create more characters which another waste of time again

No offense, but this should be asked on POE forums

But in short, yes and no: both games have items with tier affixes, that’s enough to say that the itemization kind of work the same way. But POE affixes rolls have way more depth and rules, and its crafting mechanics is kind of a game within the game.
While building a character is already complex for some people, actually understanding all crafting mechanics to get the best out of it is another beast for the average playerbase (I mean, ones that keep playing).
