Does item breakpoint 825 exist?

after the 725 item breakpoint, does it really matter is a item for example 730 or 820 ilevel? Can they roll the same stats? Sure hope not. I’ve seen the breakpoint chart, but it seems to stop at 725. Sure this can’t be the case. Info of new higher tier is probably just too new.

There are no more major increases after 725, just minor improvements.

It seems weird that the longest and most grindy part of the leveling journey has no more exciting items to acquire.

yes they roll the same stats. only thing that matters is the iLvl BREAKPOINT, not iLvl itself.

you can test this yourself.

just pick up pants. only pants. nothing else except pants. once your inventory is full look at the affixes and their ranges. if they’re within the same breakpoint they will have the same ranges. doesn’t matter if its normal vs sacred or normal vs ancestral. i haven’t found any evidence yet to counter this but I also stopped playing a few days ago because of it.

the game just becomes boring a few hours after hitting wt3 because itemization is so simplified. its just smoke and mirrors.

Anyone here upgrade 801+ item to above 825 to confirm this?

same here for me 57 and now 64. changed 1 item.

A lot of your end game power comes from leveling up the sigils for the paragon board.

Sure lvl 90+ items must roll higher stats than the ones you get right after you get to WT4? Just so little info yet.

I have only ever seen 820, but I could be wrong.

It’s barely worth looking at any of the items that drop, which imo gets depressing. Just looking for some 1 in 1000 perfect rolls

i can confirm that nothing happens.

i have 2 rings with same stats

1 is 804 item level +25
2 is 740 item level +25

both rings have same crit chance roll 7.5 same vuln dmg range same crit damage range only the HP roll is different 1000 vs 1200 on 800++ ring

what the actuall burning hell is that system ?

Seems to be working off thresholds, which to me is boring and LAZY

The item level increases the base armor roll and on rings the base resistance rolls, weapons the base damage. The stat tiers are based off of whether or not it’s sacred then ancestral.

Maybe magic happens and the loot can roll better from 90+ lvl mobs?

The item level of dropped items is based on your character level. Level 100s on average drop higher item level items.

why only the HP roll tho ?

maby its exclusive mod like in weapons ?
higher item level = higher dps ?

yes and the item level means nothing. the only thing that matters is the breakpoints.

there is no diff in numerical ranges between a 625 and a 724 item. they are within the same breakpoint. it doesn’t matter if one is normal, sacred, or ancestral. there doesn’t seem to be any difference.

It does on some items. Weapons that an both ancestral but 100 item levels apart, you will see a very huge difference in damage. Same with having every armor piece at 820. It starts to add up. I agree that right now the gearing is shallow, but it is a start.

yeah i agree weapon dps/armor/intrisinic values (resists on rings, etc…) do increase with iLvl. however, affixes don’t. there isnt a tier affix system. even a simple system with increasing affix ranges based on iLvl doesn’t exist.

it just seems so empty and useless.

more people will start seeing this by the end of the week, and by the weekend there will be more complaints. this system needs to be fixed immediately. progression is boring as it is now.
