Why does EVERY encounter have to have some form of CC in nightmare dungeons?
It would be bliss if just for once I wasn’t slowed, frozen, stunned, boxed in by walls, feared, or have to engage with an enemy with a shield.
Seriously. How did the entire team think all this CC was a good thing? It doesn’t add challenge, just pure rage inducing frustration.
And when you’re not getting cc’d walking between each encounter you get snagged on something or get hit by a trap or get sniped from a bow the moment you walk around a corner.
I get that you nerfed the CC, but it needs to be turned down further. There’s no reason for EVEY ENCOUNTER to have some form a CC and then slap the player in the face with traps and arrows to the face that stalls your characters movement.
I truly do like this game and have put in hundreds of hours, but this is borderline sadistic.
Part of the problem is that resistance may not have been fixed. So, CC still does more than it should. Although, there does not appear to be stun resistance and I do not think Control Effect Reduction is sufficient enough to prevent character death even after the current fix.
Any different suggestion?
Echo of Lilith damage spikes in every single dungeon, so you dont need to watch CC but onehit kills instead?
Depending on which games they were, I dont see any strange vibes of you.
Though there list of IP is pretty limited, so very likely you are talking about souls-likes.
Yes, teleport is used for CC break as well as escape. Also, Fire Shield specifically states you are immune while it is active. Finally, every class has evade.
To be fair, there are some skills that don’t state you are immune but it gets you out of trouble. Shred (Druid skill) has a dash attached to it, Caltrops (Rogue skill) has a Item that adds stun which will interrupt attacks.
So much this. Our CCs are on a cooldown. Mobs CC should be on a cooldown as well. They shouldn’t be able to spam ice or fear circles over and over again forever. That’s just insane.
Every class has, but people dont want to be forced to select defensive skills for “just in case” - also they seem to be instantly cced a 2nd time after breaking free …
As minion Necro i just use Bone storm, Minion button, Corpse explosion, Tendrils, Bone prison and Mist (Decrepify is auto because of the heart and does not need to be placed on button)
What skill would you change ?
For Bone spear on season i would probably go with something like. Spear, Tendrils, explosion (since it is auto now due to the heart and you get dmg buff from it), Mist, Storm and Prison (Decrepify is auto because of the heart and does not need to be placed on button)
Had a hard time even finding a 6th ability for the spear line up above.
Dont know, the system is pretty straight forward in the way it presents itself so everyone would pick a defense skill just by the way the skill tree is visualized.
But whatever works does, and obviously also the other way round.
Sekiro is my favorite FromSoft game as well. It’s by far the best…
Alotho I haven’t played AC6, which was directed by the lead game designer of Sekiro so I definitely want to try it at some point.
I’ve completed (along with bonus content) Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, and Sekiro.
Got decently far in Bloodborne and Dark Souls 1, but never completed those 2.
Its fine skipping DS2, but DS1 and Bloodborne I would recommend to finish.
Sekiro was already the most difficult game of them, so you should be able to do it.
I would also suggest having a peak at Mortal Shell if you liked the aboves, the games idea is very similar.
