It still has the same issue it had in the other betas to me. That is the fact that you spend a majority of the levels using a generator before being able to use your spender.
Spirit needs as a minimum to auto refil. Starting a fight with no spirit just makes the next fights feel soooo bad.
Also having to chase mobs down to melee them, to generate spirit to be able to do anything is just not fun.
They need resource pots or someway of increase resources at lower levels because this is painful.

I agree with this, even if its a bit slower than some other classes. The spenders feel good to use but it feels like they take a huge amount of energy and you’re always forced to move in boss fights.

Druid seemed “alright” till around level 15… then the enemies scaled way beyond what the druid could handle and im getting my rear handed to me in dungeons by the bosses (unable to kill them)…
At 17 standard enemies in dungeons are killing me rather quickly…
I really wanted to play druid… but this class is DoA…
i didnt play druid last beta but iam having a blast as werebear not sure where all the druid hatred is coming from

Werebear have plenty of damage. Outshines werewolf in performance.

No, it is awful. Werebear is still bad and this talk about wait until endgame is a no go for me. I understand they want us to take our time but every other class out performs druid. The Tornado build is OK but I preordered D4 because of the Werebear build. It is a total disappointment.

It feels exactly the same as it did last beta… like… what did they do? I wanna be a damn werewolf for a reason and its slow and weak if i wanted to shoot lighting bolts id have picked mage… but here we are having to pick certain talents cause they cant tune properly. Disappointment

How you guys killing den mother? Thing just runs me down and drains my pots, can’t face tank her. Use my dodge but she just runs me down and hits me for 1/4 of my hp anyway. What skills combo you use?
update: Tried werewolf and poison dmg, dodging every one of her melees, using Blood Howl and Evade to recover hp. Died when she was 1 hit away because for some reason you just take random damage in the fight. Feels like the invisible wolves are just autoing me.
update 2: Killed her @ lvl 11. Earth abilities still the best I guess. Going to see exactly wth they buffed for druid because everything else felt like mud.
stormstrike+landslide still gets the job done. and now creeper is even stronger than before
After lv 16 i found it got easier, once you have hurricaine, the reaper vine thing and the wolves…
Earth Druid is still complete garbage. Feels like it does about half the damage of sorc and rogue. Last beta event I made it to 16 before deleting , this one I made it to 17 . So I guess it is one level better. =p
I even gave him all yellow gear . Since I leveled other classes first and he still just dies constantly. Mainly because it takes him forever to kill anything. The poison vine pet skill was really nice but has a long cd. The basic and core earth skills just don’t do enough damage. I even ranked the core skill to 5 and it is still bad.
yeh i had to reduce to adventurer difficulty… i just couldn’t output enough dps against bosses
The only thing they buffed on druids is the summons - which was like, what no one asked for. Druids are a combination of low mobility + horribly slow animations + average skills + moderate tankiness.
If you just jump into the game and play Druid first, you’ll have a good time.
The second you play any other class - you’ll feel like you were running in mud the whole time on the Druid and question why you wasted so much time on the class.
The gap in speed/damage/fun between Druid and the other classes really does have me question whether or not Blizzard even plays their own game. Or, if Druids suddenly become gods at max level - and are only trash in the lower levels .

Druid was great in last beta and got massive buffs for this server slam.
