Class balance is really important for making a game fun and fair. Right now, the difference between classes in our game is huge – like being 20 pit levels apart. This makes playing an OP class exciting, but it also leaves those with weaker classes feeling left out. This isn’t good for the game’s health.
We can compare this to the wealth gap in the real world. Just like a big income gap between average people and the rich creates problems in society, a big performance gap between classes causes issues in the game. Players with weaker classes get frustrated and may stop playing, which hurts the community and the game overall.
Yes, while we can all switch to the class that is overpowered or play builds that can double-dip (like Sorc Shatter or Heartseeker), if that’s the case, why do we even have five classes? By doing this, we are essentially encouraging Blizzard to eventually have only one class, because that’s all that matters.
Closing this gap is crucial. By making classes more balanced, we ensure that all players have a fair and enjoyable experience, no matter what class they choose. Balancing classes is key to a better, more successful game.

When u build a bash baba at lvl 100 you get damage numbers to 8 million ez without masterwork or royal topaz in all weponslots.
Meanwhile i play the cool druid Lanslide that procs via nature’s fury looks amazing feels good to play i spent 3x time on my druid than i did on my baba this season. it didnt take much effort to cross pit 100 with baba, and slay all the uber bosses. With druid i still struggle with pit 100 and have almost reached full masterwork.
I started playing because i felt like i needed a challange after the barbarian witch for me was too easy. but this druid is nowhere near the other classes in power and the expectations i have for myself and where i want to be able to take my charachter. atleast i want to be able to cruise through a pit 100 and be able to do a 120
but no Buff baba… and give the druid what??? from all bonuses i get 5% attackspeed and 5% proccchance for my natures fury? meanwhile the best flay baba gets the power to reach pit 170 and druid will still struggle with 110.

Made a post about this already. The actual difference between builds is literally 100,000%.

While I would like all classes viable and buffed where needed (which will happen over time), that comparison is…something.
Personally I don’t care if I hit a wall sooner than other classes. I play ARPG’s to just mindlessly grind and destroy mobs. I hit a difficulty wall where another class would breeze through, I just keep grinding/trying or move on to another class and start over again.
Left out of what? After level 61 it doesnt matter.
I dont care if a roid barb can clear pit 200. But when an underpowered build of another class cant even really play with full masterworking without grinding out 700 pits to level to 12 because of how weak they are… Then the patch is out and that build gets nothing of use and the OP class is getting more juiced… Thats frustrating.
Try masterworking to 12 on all gear running 61s lol. More of a grind than leveling to 100 in S0

I don’t feel left out. I play my way and i have fun. So what if i cant clear the top pit clears. I really could care less as long as i have fun

When you want to start masterworking 9to12 and are doing so out of 60s pits… Its not gonna be fun.
When they make such incompetent balancing decisions, I can’t help but think
- they can’t do math
- they are lazy
- they are just downright double-digit IQed
- VoH will bomb

Im at pit 70. I have no problems with masterworking lol
24 at a time when you need 550 for 9 to 12. Whatever you think is fun I guess…
See i dont just grind the pit the entire time im on. I bounce between end game activities, why? Because it’s more fun that way

I understand that not everyone needs to aim for super high pit levels, and that some players may not be as concerned with class balance at those extremes. However, I believe class balance is important for several reasons, even if we don’t all push for the highest levels.
While it’s true that reaching the minimal pit level (lvl 61) might eventually get you all the gear you want, this is akin to saying that earning a minimal wage is sufficient because it covers basic needs like food, rent, and water. Just as people aspire for more than just the bare necessities in life, players want to experience the full potential and excitement of the game. Being satisfied with minimal pit levels limits the overall enjoyment and satisfaction derived from playing.
if our only choice for higher pit is to switch class, this encouraging players to switch to overpowered classes or specific builds undermines the diversity and richness of the game. We have five classes for a reason – to offer varied playstyles and experiences. If everyone gravitates towards the same OP class or build, we lose that diversity, and the game’s depth diminishes.
No, this is a video game where it doesnt really matter if you make it to pit 120 or 116. Some of you really worry about things that dont matter at all. Stop caring about what some other class can do and just have some fun. Once you start comparing pixels to real life, you have clearly gone wayyy off base.

Those people (myself included) we worked our asses off to get where we are. Now granted some people had it handed to them, but i prefer earning for myself and push myself. I dont want life to cater towards me, including in a game

This is done intentionally by Blizzard as part of business plan.
Yeah… It really is … special, to say the least.
