I have a skill or an item (not sure) that auto casts Blizzard every 30 seconds or so. If I cast Blizzard on top of that will it do double damage to enemies? Thanks for any input.
That’s the Blizzard enchantment.
Yes they stack. But there’s much better enchantments.
Pretty much every DoT skill in this game stacks with itself. People use blizzard as their primary source of damage because of Glacial Aspect.

Blizzard by itself is hard after 50. You need Glacial Aspect to make it continue to scale.
You can cast multiple Blizzards on top of each other.
Put one skill point into firebolt and swap the enchantment over to firebolt. Then other skills will apply burning. Get +damage to burning enemies on some of your gear.
I run teleport and firebolt as my enchantments. Teleport into groups to apply burning, and cast a blizzard on top of yourself. Frost nova and everything dies.

How are people getting such big damage numbers from their Glacial Spikes?
I have devouring blaze maxed, plus to vulnerable, cold and burning on my gear. I have plus to crit chance and damage on my gear as well. I have a 2,150 damage Glacial on my amulet. I have 5/3 Icy Touch. I’m running Frostburn for extra cold damage. I have the relevant paragon as well. Despite all this, I only get like 15,000 damage when a Glacial Spike crits.
Enemies seem to be dying fairly quickly but I would have thought damage to be higher than 15k.
Plus damage affixes on gear. Especially +vulnerable damage, +frozen damage
Lots of +crit damage and +crit chance too. Crit chances up around 50%.
What are you seeing tick for damage numbers?
Crits as high as $25k. Depends a lot on how well I apply burning. I run Glacial on 2H staff it’s 2600 base damage, I think.
What level are you?
I’m level 83 right now. I haven’t gotten to the Burning Instinct board yet. I’m close though. I’ll get a big chunk of damage from that before long.
I’m also wondering about my glyphs. I really like using Adept for the increased blizzard area but I’m probably leaving a ton of damage on the table by using it. I should probably switch it for the glyph that adds vulnerable or critical damage.
I’ve got four glyph slots unlocked right now. I’m using control, adept, frostburn and reinforced. I should probably swap adept for destruction or exploit.

I like Tactician glyph. And the Burning paragon board adds quite a bit if you can reliably apply burning.
