It’s really weird to me that Blizz is consistently doing things to sabotage D4. I’m starting to wonder if this is a tactic to make Blizz look like it needs Microsoft to rescue it or something.
Some of the patches and fixes are just not making any sense to me. I hope this isn’t the case but a lot of this recent patch makes no sense.

More likely they make D4 bad, to trick us into thinking D3 was actually good, to sell us D3R on christmas

it isn’t sabotage, it’s incompetence, and nobody else wants to join the team and try to clean up this mess. It seems that their intention is to make the Eternal experience worse in order to get people to play seasons instead. That way they can push their season pass sales. It’s the only reason I can come up with.
Either its on purpose, or they have no idea what they are doing. Both are equally as bad.
Until about 5 pm this afternoon I would have forum pvp’ed you for that. but…it makes a lot of weird sense. Specially since the lawsuit fell through and the purchase is moving forwards. They are after the IP for CoD and Kings mainly though. We will see what they do with this IP, WoW, and overwatch.
I secretly hope they do starcraft 3.

I also believe they intentionally destroyed ethereal realm to justify playing seasons, ie sell more battle passes.

no, i think they have been doing MMOs for too long, so when they are trying to deal with a hack and slash like diablo, they turn it into a waiting for cooldown style game.
the changes feel very wow like.

I’m not paying you to try to fix this junk. There is no fixing. Oh, and volunteers don’t get paid. You’re a swindler and would fit right in at Activision. 
No question. So many things in this game are borrowed directly from WoW and Diablo Immoral.

You can’t recognize a better flavor without a worse flavor.
It isn’t even about making the money from players directly (that’s small change stuff) but if players turn to seasons to play they can use those stats when trolling for investors.
Investors who will be willing to shell out money for “new projects” not Diablo IV.
