So I finally have my tempest roar. Nados are really good I tried storm claw and it felt bad but I keep watching videos of it and it played a lot better then what i was seeing.
For you guys that have ran both which do you perfer and why?
Tornado wolf or storm claw wolf?
i have the staff helm and chest for wolf
Tornado is stronger and can push higher nightmare levels… at least a 15+ jump from storm to tornados
Is it really that much better even with Crone staff ? I keep seeing tons of storm claw vids and hardly any nado vids just wanting some other opinions but I appreciate it brother.

Tornado can push higher, but I just don’t like the way it feels. Stormclaw is more fun for me, but the high APM really started to give me carpal tunnel.
In the end, I actually settled for Lightning Storm. It’s really run and can still push 60s with it and don’t really have an interest in going higher than that.
I agree with this. Tornado is better for nightmare dungeons.
However, I do think the Stormclaw build with dashing Shred would be better for PVP, but only because I don’t think my Wolfnado could catch some of the faster classes, lol. I could be wrong about it, though. Wolfnado does really good dps. I haven’t done any PVP in Diablo IV, though. So, I dunno. It’s just a guess.
There are two things I’ve noticed about Tornado in higher nightmare dungeons.
One, it does amazing damage, and just melts bosses.
But, more importantly - Two, you can use it at range and it’s much safer. So, I’ll find myself pulling a group of elites or huge amount of enemies, and then backtracking slightly to a choke point in the dungeon so they all come after me, but they never reach me because I’m just spamming Tornado into their faces through the chokepoint, lol.
Also, for cursed chests that keep shooting fireballs - I would have died earlier to one of these, but I did the same technique. I moved outside of it’s line of sight and just cast Tornado into the room until it was over = easy. 
Note: I do use the aspect that focuses Tornado to attack three targets. So, my Tornados seek out and kill things.
I didn’t really care for werenado build myself.
I have played both and at this point prefer the poison shred build. IMO it is just more fun and the speed is amazing. The werenado build is powerful sure but I find it somewhat boring. I switched to a Rabies/Shred/Poison build using Waxing Gibbous, Mad Wolf’s Glee, and Tempest Roar and have been having a blast.
I really liked the Poison Shred also with the Waxing Gibbous, but mine was horrible. Got the 1s roll on it. I switched to Basic Claw build once I got Crone Staff and I would say I’m having more fun than the Shred build because of consistency and attack speed. I’m actually doing higher NM Dungeons with it.
