Do they not truly understand the game they made?

Ok so they TRIED to help barb people out but barb relies on outside damage sources (multipliers , buffs etc) skills themselves don’t do a ton of damage its the outside damage sources they bring the power…

If you balanced earthquakes you wouldn’t have to nerf everything that had to do with it into the ground, including removing the damage vs close buff to Force of Nature which was never in the patch notes. You nerfed the earthquakes down (which was only OP for HoTa builds using mountains fury) they were clearing 120+ pits not whirlwind barbs.

Then you nerfed it down again season 8 which put whirlwind barbs and some other builds im sure to pit 85 - 90 which is FINE.

Season 9 you wrecked that build and made it obsolete essentially anything involving quakes / nados other than the basic damage buffs from them not using them for any sort of DPS at this point and even killed off call to ancients as if they did one shot damage lol! Call to ancients did much beneficial damage to help the non meta barbs enjoy other builds by actually doing some damage but the hell with that lets nerf them to the ground too…

Barb isn’t the only one this has happened to obviously but it’s more non meta builds that get destroyed is what it seems like.

Obviously they can’t figure out how to properly code / fix overpower damage, because when I get a blast wave shrine I hit 30 - 50 trill crits lol but my whirlwind damage itself caps around 700 - 900 mill which isn’t 100% uptime of that damage but the overpower doesn’t affect me as I am a WW build.

Blizzard logic let’s buff up all the baseline stats for higher numbers even though the actual DPS isn’t going to really be much more.

The logic of T4 being rewarding for only x% of player base was a big game killer for a lot of players who want to enjoy end game without being the same builds as others.

They also tryed to “help” RG people is S7 / S8, and now they’ve nerfed them again…

RG is D4 underdog, cared less by the dev’s than Barb…

Balance as in “all builds are same” is not what people want which is what select blizzard loving forum users think.

Balance people want is just so everyone can play at whatever tier they want after grinding and finding gear which is the PURPOSE of the game to advance and challenge the build they are choosing to have.

D4 some big issues… damage reduction and resistance IMO is broken and they aren’t fixing it… you should not require 75% resis + 60% damage reduction to avoid being 1 shotted which depending on what your facing you can still get one shotted.

Make pit 85 - 90 + the sought for x% player base not torment 4 . that was the dumbest ideology someone could have ever came up with. (current state isn’t awful IMO but bosses can be a bit ridiculous specially in full party) I do not want to be one shotting them or dropping them in 10 seconds I like a challenge but not 2 min + trying to take them down that becomes boring… If I grinded countless hours for my gear that was my reward for my time to be able to make a character fight with the DPS not just select items dictating my DPS.

Please bring back bosses to drop legendries + class specific… once your geared and have mythics they become redundant to even do.

Paragon boards being limited to 5 I am not a fan of and never was… the boards should have remained how they were “limitless” just IMO.

Inb4 they just start using templates for all classes, honestly it would probably be best at this point

Simple Suggestion to the Blizzard D4 Team and Management relating to Diablo IV:
Blizzard would do a lot better, big time, if they:

1) Fixed and Improved Diablo 4 overall as they been promising for the past 2 years.
2) Add the many sorely needed quality of life fixes and features to Diablo 4, which players have been waiting for since the game came out.
3) Fix the broken, buggy, nerf-ridden, unrewarding, repetitive, beta game that Diablo 4 still is and get it out of Beta land! Liven up and roll over Seasonal Powers to the Eternal Realm like an Archive Season Powers Library where players can use one seasonal power at a time from previous seasons instead of leaving players less powerful in the Eternal Realm, which is awful! Liven things up and make the game more fun and rewarding with more special events and challenges!
4) Revert, or improve the existing shameful overpriced Battle Pass that gives less rewards and 500 less Platinum for the same price as previous seasons, soon! This is a major issue and Blizzard knows it screwed up with this, big time!
5) Make Diable 4 more fun, rewarding and worth while playing as players paid for and expected when we originally paid for the game over 2 years ago, and STOP hindering, and artificially slowing down player progress and weakening players every damn season when there is only 3 short months to every season and not enough time to do everything! Also, fix and improve Tempering and allow unlimited use of restore scrolls so the gear or weapon that a player grinded to get in the game doesn’t go to waste for no good reason! The game should NOT be so damn unrewarding and punishing. That is NOT fun! It’s just messed up and only makes the game worse, especially when you leave these bugs, issues and problems unresolved! It’s a power fantasy game, and should NOT be some damn repetitive, unrewarding and punishing hell grind! * Players want to enjoy themselves throughout the entire season and not be disappointed most of the time when playing Diablo 4 as many have since the game came out over 2 years ago, especially when paying for a much less rewarding and shameful Battle Pass for D4!

  • After Blizzard does and resolves all of the above mentioned issues, bugs and problems with Diablo 4 or at least fixes and improves 50% of these things to fix and improve the game, then it should start working on testing and balancing classes, but at this stage and how things are now with Diablo 4, balancing should NOT be an issue nor is it urgent. It should be left for last on their To-Do List once the game is mostly fixed and improved. What is URGENT in D4 are the existing bugs, issues and ongoing problems with the game, including the fact that players can’t even kill the featured character Boss in the game, Lilith, because of some ridiculous bug and that should NOT be happening in Diablo 4! Get it together, Blizzard D4 Team and Management! You can do better!

Hopefully, Blizzard will fix and improve Diablo 4 sooner than later and make the game awesome, fun and rewarding for all D4 players who paid and continue supporting the game. - JJ -
