Its pretty underwhelming. Been trying to make it work, if anyone has any tips for it id appreciate it. I understand blood is in a weak spot right now.
I have some vids that make it work. I’m hitting almost 900k on my Lance overpower crits. (thanks to using Grasping veins)
You can see a couple of my vids youtube/@remortisgaming
And i’m still not fully optimized with my gear or glyphs yet…
@remortis did you ever try thorns for aoe clear while using lance / hemo for ranged enemies and elites? i thought blood didn’t need anything but overpower and health for dmg, but then i saw that speed was extremely important, so i am not sure if there is space for thorns in the stat budget
900k you say? Thats much higher than my best case scenario blood surges.
Are the Blood lance aspects quantifying into Overpower? Kinda seems like they must be.
Surge can do over 1 million per hit (my highest is 1.2 million). I have only briefly used lance and got it to 2.1 million
900k every 7 hits is trash when bone spear can hit 20m every hit while piercing everything.
Overpower really needs a buff.
Blood Lance in particular needs better AOE. The “only pierce enemies already hit” makes it soooo slow to clear.
Blood Surge hits 3x though with aspect. Their overall damage is fairly similar and blood surge has wayyyy better AOE.
Cant get mine over 340k @lvl85.
I have 17k life, 1900% overpower damage, 3 ranks tides of blood on amulet, sacrificial aspect on amulet, and 2h grasping veins. Can’t think of any other relevant stats
it would be cool if blood lance is a using corpses around and shoot a lance on enemey…
so if u have 10 corpses at a spot u use all 10 and shoot 10 lances against an enemy…
would work 100000000% better as it is now.
10k
1750% OP
Does 90 to 100 just give tons of life or something?
Cuz i have health on almost everything that can roll health.
Exceptions being rings, neck, 1hweapon.
What are your overpowers hitting for outside of using corpse tenedrils? With surge.
Im sitting at lvl 86 and i dont really have much room for improvement so i cant figure out why youre OPing for over 1mil besides the health difference.
Granted i use a 1hander and probably churn out alot more paranormal blood surges, but still. If i put my 2hander on i feel like id get 450k as a best case scenario.
2x ? Blood wave has a 3x, but surge only has 2 doesnt it?
How is it weak? Can push 90+ while being way more tanky than bone.Diablo 4 Blood Lance Necromancer vs Tier 92 - YouTube
1st instance of damage: it sucks blood from all targets on the screen.
2nd instance of damage: the close range nova.
3rd instance of damage: your aspect.
I’m level 89. Health on rings, helmet, chest, and pants. I have every point of health from the paragon board though. The damage difference is definitely the health difference though. Health is base damage for us so thats a baseline 70% more damage I have which pretty much explains the difference.
This is also true.
The life gain is not linear from 1 to 100. 99 to 100 gives more life than 1 to 25.
I had 29k life at 100 on my Blood Surge Necro.
P.s:
Items with +Life doesnt benefit from +% Life.
Only Base HP benefit from +% Life.
This is true for paragon but not armor rubies IIRC.
I have Armor Rubies, Paragon Board and Sacrifice Effects with +% Life.
When i unequip a Ring with +XXX Life i lose the exact amount of HP at my HP Bar. Thats means +Life from Items have no Multiply Bonus.
I notice youre not using the pet sac aspect, which gives me some hope to maybe stop leaning on that aspect so hard.
Maybe its not as neccesary as it seems
That video isn’t mine, I would hate to take credit for something I didn’t make. However I don’t use pet sac aspect either (and I killed Uber and doing fine in NMs) and actually none of my necro friends pushing high uses it. So yeah, you are fine.
