Do Parties Share Quest Progress?

As far as the main story is concerned. If I decide to run it with a friend, will we both progress through the campaign equally or will we need to complete our campaign separately? Don’t want to run into a Fable II situation lol

They only share if they have that quest available. The best thing to do is to let the lowest level/the player with the least progress to be party leader, and then everyone will get everything. If a player that has not started a questline joins mid way, they will not get the quest loot rewards.

as long as you are both on the same campaign level. it works. if you are in different parts of the story no youll have to join the person who is behind in the story progress.

And also you don’t get the garanteed rewards for redoing the quests with a friend, I tried the last boss a second time just in case, you know lol

Depended on the quest. Some quests require you to progress on a personal level, others progress together.

I recall one quest that required gathering zombie ribs… we each needed to get our own zombie ribs, for example.

The quests have to line up perfectly, or they do not count. We had a group member who did the whole questline with us, only to not get credit for anything on the way because he was one step behind us when we started.
