Dmg numbers in Pit I-dont-get-it

I am dealing 5M dmg to non elites in the pit when overpowering with Pulverize.

I am dealing 30M dmg to elites when overpowering with Pulverize.

Anyone knows how dmg calculations are made?

  1. Is the 5 million the max hp of the mob and therefor I cant deal more dmg?

  2. Is the same true for the elites that their health is 30M ~?

Running pit lvl 70 for reference.

You might have a passive, aspect, paragon node, affix that increases damage to elites.

You’re right I have +5 Defiance on my Amu. +20% Dmg to elites.

Dont understand the multiplicative calculations still. its more like +600% dmg.

I have +1100 Crit dmg

+60% multiplicative crit dmg (Envenom + Other passive)
