[DMG Input Bug] Much too high, unpredictable damage

Hello from Germany,

I’ve already had the problem with three HC- characters that they died from very high, unpredictable and unexpected damage. With hardcore characters, this is of course very hard and I would like to be able to understand why that is.

It seems to me that the game sometimes ignores armor values and resistances.
I am attaching a video here. And I also ask to check the character Nadine (level 50) on my account. I’m sure the character’s death wasn’t caused by “normal” damage. Because it is almost impossible that the opponents only do moderate damage at first, but only 3 steps away there is a group that knocks out damage that kills the character without being able to react.

(Please note: I tried to repeat the situation the following evening and ran into the same spot with another character, also a hunter. The group of enemies was back, but this time they didn’t do much damage. The character’s armor values and resistances were comparable to the values of the dead character from the evening before.)

Here is a second video. The character also died instantly from some damage that isn’t apparent to me.

Important to mention:
I don’t mean to start a discussion about resuscitation here. I’m just assuming this is a bug that needs to be found and fixed.
