DLSS for Server Slam Beta

I have a Geforce RTX 4080 and I didn’t see an update on the video driver over the last week showing support for the new DLSS. The link below on Nvidia’s website doesn’t show D4 supporting DLSS. According to the last developer update it was mentioned that the extensions for DLSS would be available in the Server Slam beta.

For those unaware of what DLSS is, here is a summary of what the benefits are:

DLSS forces a game to render at a lower resolution (typically 1440p) and then uses its trained AI algorithm to infer what it would look like if it were rendered at a higher one (typically 4K) . It does this by utilizing some anti-aliasing effects (likely Nvidia’s own TAA) and some automated sharpening.

Here is the link from Nvidia showing the latest games that fully support the new DLSS technology as of May 10, 2023 (D IV is not listed but Diablo II Resurrected is):

Anyone from admin can check into this?

It is already available, look in options.

Apparently an oversite from Nvidia on there update as of May 10, 2023 listed in the link.

Thanks,

With a 4080 what reason do you have to even use DLSS? With my 3080 Ti max settings at 4K the game doesn’t even throttle up the card over 780 mhz. Besides some minor power savings or trying to run the game @ 120 fps + I don’t really see the benefit of DLSS on such a low demanding game. D2R is more demanding even than D4 is.
