Disconnects causing rollbacks

I have been farming like mad for Helm of Perdition, i have so far crafted 4 and have had 2 drops, all of them rolled with the wrong GA.

Last night i needed 3 x JAH so i traded with someone 3 x BAC for 3 x JAH and had enough parts to craft another Helm of Perdition.

Crafted it and “OMG Moment”…it rolled with a GA with CHC…i was chuffed, went straight over to the Blacksmith to master work it, done quite a few resets to get more rolls into CHC.

And then BOOM…game disconnected me and i had to wait around 2-3mins before i could get back in.

Got back in and the Helm of Perdition is missing, completely gone, strangest part was the JAH’s i traded was back in my stash, whilst fuming i crafted another one and low and behold…it rolled with the wrong GA.

It seems to me the disconnect rolled back my game.

Has this happened to anyone else?

NOTE: After yesterdays update i have had quite a few disconnects, I’m now very wary to craft anything just in case it happens again.
NOTE: I sent a ticket regarding this but i don’t think i have a chance to get the item back.

Holy crap. I just pulled a ticket on something like this happened to me. Trivial it was, but notable nonetheless.

I have been saving up gold to try to reach 1B and, as such, was tracking my own progress. I dc’d last night and, when I did, I had 398,000,000 gold. When I logged in first thing this morning, my gold was at 172,000,000.

Nothing else was different. I had the same paragon, same gear, etc. It’s as if just my gold was rolled back!

Seriously weird.

I’ve been rolled back for quest progression

I’ve seen it once with item master working.

If this happens to me when something rare drops, I will quit on the spot after lol

What i am doing right now is if something rare drops i pick it up and log out of the game, maybe a log out stores it, i dunno but i am trying to take precautions now.

I should not have to do that but it is what it is.
