I have two rings with lvl 800 and identical stats. The values for tempering are different for both rings.
The first ring has a range from 77.5 to 100%
The second ring has a range from 100.7 to 130%
It’s the same tempering recipe I’m looking at and I can’t figure out why one ring has a higher range. Any ideas?
Perhaps one of the is masterworked?
Both have masterwork 8 / 12.
The other temper stat is different too.
The first ring has 6 to 8%
The second has 7.8 to 10.4%
Somehow the second ring has more powerful tempering effects.
Then, maybe you’re trying to reroll affix that had a “proc” on 4th or 8th level up?
No, the procs are on other values. The temper recipe look different at the blacksmith too. No idea why one ring has higher values than the other. It’s kinda confusing.
Did you Temper them at different times? If your Temper Recipe wasn’t Legendary, it has lower values.
yeah you most likely tempered one and then the recipe got upgraded before you tempered the second
I’m standing at the blacksmith and looking at the same legendary temper recipe. I took a new third ring and it has the lower value range too. According to a guide this is the wrong value range. I slowly start to believe my char is bugged.

really interesting that the difference is exactly 30% and only on 1 affix.
you should report it. maybe there is a bug nobody noticed so far (maybe a rare one)
