OK, heres the issue i am having. i play on console ps5. i play hardcore and know the repercussions of dying, ive lost 11 hardcore characters this season but they were by something i did, I.E. not being strong enough, foolishly fighting bosses, not specing gear right to survive, i totally accept that but today i was playing with my hardcore barbarian in the gaping crevasse on my way to duriel when my ps5 controller that i had been using became unresponsive, it was still on and connected to the ps5 but the buttons would not respond, the controller was fully charged and i had been using it for a couple hours and all of a sudden nothing. i couldnt move or use an escape scroll or anything ultimately causing my characters death. i would like to see if theres ANYWAY blizzard could do me a solid and revive this character. i only ask about this one because this character died because of a weird controller malfunction. normally i wouldn’t ask, but i’ve put ALOT of time in this character and hate to lose it over something i didnt personally do. any help i can get would be appreciated as i dont think i have it in me to start another hardcore character this season. thanks
In my case, it was that the neighbour’s dog ran off with the controller. The dog wasn’t very good at playing and I died.

There was a nasty spike yesterday, was super sudden and out of the ordinary
Sad to hear/see people have played HC at the time… Not much playing HC but Saturdays and Mondays definitely don’t strike me as “safe to play HC now” days to me

Blizzard Entertainment does not, and will not, revive Hardcore characters.
You should Google the original Diablo II manual and read their disclaimer re: Hardcore character deaths. It’s pretty funny.
