No the Sorc class balance person is just bad at their job. It needs a full rework at this point. Game was far better for Sorc before they changed crit/vuln. Even then only on certain builds.

This was gold to me, as a sorc’s first post in the forum this season.
-I actually have a lot of fun on my frozen orb sorc casually farming tier 90 pit BUT I am also not very sweaty and this is ENOUGH for me, personally. I get enough neathiron in quick runs to make things feel smooth.
-Tonight I pushed up to 100 because… why not if I am just farming on tier 90? I did it, got an achievement but… just too sweaty for me. I’ll keep farming on tier 90 and really… that is sufficient for me.
-Rolled a necro this season. Not even a minion necro and can just zap things for many millions on a shadow/bone spirit build. I keep coming back to one of my 3 seasonal sorcs (frozen orb) though just because I have a lot more FUN playing it.
*agree the folk in charge of sorc need replacement but this has been begged for MANY times over. In the mean-time, at least I tend to have more FUN on sorc.

-Always trying to convince myself in terms of what they may actually do for sorc.
-But no, I wasn’t convincing myself. I am happy with doing pit 100. As said, I am not a very sweaty player and pit 100 is cool, for me.
*Disclaimer though: Seeing and even playing a non-sorc build that just zaps for many millions, DOES feel very frustrating and does not do much to build faith in this team, so there is that.
at the rate of 2%-3% sorc buff, we can bid each other farewell.
it is expected in Season 50 we can reunion where sorc could have buffed 100% and playable.
