My weapon with smiting aspect is greyed out for some reason… anyone know?
You have it on another piece of gear one will be greyed out.

Yes. Its disabled. Its the only possible explanation. Its 1000 times more likely than you having it on a different piece of gear.
no need to be snarky. i’m asking because I checked every item 3 times. I took it off a few times and everytime I place it in my stash its active, but when I place it on my character its greyed out. I re checked other items afterwards and no other item has that aspect.
I think he’s making a jab at Blizzard disabling it for whatever reason is now more likelier than it being greyed out because the only other way was having it equipped twice. Because they been messing things up lately.
Try restarting the game. There are some strange bugs I’ve heard about and this is one of them. That was the solution.
Strangely enough, I went into a NM dungeon to see outside of town and it’s no longer greyed out. Didn’t change anything else.

That actually happened to me with a shield that had the 2 extra skeletal mages on it. It was greyed out, and I 100% did not have it on anything else. I logged out, logged back in and it was no longer grey.
This happened to me the other day with a different aspect. I definitely did not have another one equipped but it was grayed out until I logged out and back in. Didn’t bother to try to see if it was just a visual bug or if the aspect was actually disabled.
this is a bug that happens sometimes, just leaving town/going back, or relogging will fix it.
seems to happen when extracting/imprinting aspects in one session
